Liz's POV

Mom is quite weird today...

I'm temporarily watching the vehicle she's riding as it moved far away.

Earlier, I went to her room actually 'their' room with dad. To talk with her about something important.

I stood up infront the door of 'their' room and knocked three times but no one answered. I opened the door silently, assuming that she is still sleeping but I doubt that.

Around this time she's widely awake. She has a motto saying, "There is no sunrise so beautiful that it is worth waking me up to see it" by Mindy Kaling.

"--beyond lovely seeing you suffer at the prison."

I was frozen on spot when I heard mom's voice, echoing inside the room.

Aalis na sana ako to give her some privacy. But again, I was frozen on spot when I heard her voice growling.

"Ah! You mean EX-husband? Oh! I appreciate your concern, dear. But I think it's more beautiful if you're going to advice it for yourself."

W-wait what? Did I heard it right? E-EX? h-husband?

As I remembered correctly, mom didn't have any boyfriend since then, well she do flings but not boyfriends, except dad.

So, if mom don't have any boyfriend back then. It means that dad was her first husband.

Walang ibang naging asawa si mom kundi si dad lang, ibig bang sabihin nun na... naghiwalay sila?

Why?

"Sorry not sorry, I wont you idiot!"

I have so many questions in mind. First, who was the caller. Is he my dad? If he was, why did mom called him EX? Kaya hindi ko na nakaya at napatanong na ako.

"Sorry for eavesdropping mom. But may I know who was that? You were totally mad." I asked to get a verification in my theory.

She was stunned when she heard my voice. After a few seconds she slowly faced me with a wide smile.

"It was nothing, sweety. And also, it's okay. Just don't do it again, next time okay?" She said pertaining about my apologies.

'It was nothing?' I want to ask her that but I restrained myself from aking her. Maybe she'll lie more.

Siguro nakita niyang hindi ako naniniwala sa mga sinasabi niya kaya ngumiti siya ng mas malawak.

"Let's eat, shall we?" She broke the silence between us.

I sighed in frustration. And go down first.

'What are you up to mom? What's with you and dad? Are you two still okay? If not, you should two atleast tell me what"s going on. I have the rights to know.'

'I felt left behind in everything.'

When I got in the dining hall I asked the maids to prepare our breakfast so when mom will come down, our breakfast is ready and we're ready to eat.

"So where we going mom?" I asked in the middle of our breakfast, to distract myself from thinking too much about the both of them.

Before she answered my question, she first took the table napkin beside her and wiped her mouth. And drink the served water.

"I am going to meet someone dominant from home, so please expect that I'm not around for three days, sweetty. It's okay right?" She said.

The dining area fell into a deep silenced after she told me her agenda for today and for the upcoming days ahead.
