XXXV. All We Know

The girl had just finished her training. Wiped her wet hair when a short message from Atsumu come and asked her to meet tonight. Yui sighed before replying to the message, explains that this isn't the right time for them to meet up after whatever happened. But Atsumu is still Atsumu. He insisted that they have to meet while she was very worried that something bad could happen to them.

Moreover, it's only a few more days were the 'wedding' day that Kyouko had chosen for them. Not to mention after that was the Black Jackals match which coincided with the day when Yui participated in her swimming competition.

Ah, why is things getting so complicated anyway? She pursed her lips.

"Is there a problem, Yui-san?"

"Eh?" Yui stuttered when Haru was sitting next to her. "Ah no, this, Atsumu asked me to meet but I think that's not a good idea." She answered while scratching the top of her head.

"You guys are really close anyway, huh? Were you that close in high school? You feel like enemy, best friends, lovers, everything."

Yui blinked her eyes. Staring at the dark haired man beside her.

"I wonder what you saw in Miya-san so that you really love him."

"Me? Seeing Atsumu?" She was taken aback for a moment before bursting into laughter which left Haru confused. "He's annoying. A total troublemaker. But in fact, he acts rebellious only to cover up his insecurity and to defend himself. From within or from the opponents he meets. That self-indulgent attitude is the way to develop his own self into a better person. Apart from that, it was his honesty and outspoken manner that made him special." Yui ended her words while looking at Haru who was staring back at her with an impressed look. "I hope you will find the right person for you later." She said while rubbing his head briefly.

Haru lowered his head, showing that he was uncomfortable with her gesture. "Yui-san, after tomorrow's competition, ah no, after I get the first place, can I talk to you?" His sea eyes stared at her sadly. "I want to talk about something important."

The black haired girl nodded with a smile. Sending some warm feelings to him. "Of course, good luck for your competition. I wish nothing but the best for you."

"Are you sure nobody followed you?" The dark haired man with a hat on top of his head looked around before closing the door to his tavern.

There was a snort from behind him followed by a heavy blow to his shoulder. "If you're so worried why do you and your stupid twin keep forcing me to come here?" Yui sat down on one of the stools roughly before crossing her legs.

"Wow, Yui-san always looks stern and cool, huh? No one dared to scold Osamu-san like that." Kaito whispered while pursed his lips against Inara's ear. Making the girl with long hair hold back her laughter.

The two of them cleaned the shop before closing it. Yes. Miya's Onigiri closed early today because there will be an important meeting that forces Yui to come. They say this is an important meeting even more important than a global issue. Hearing such nonsense explanations alone made Yui dizzy and occasionally massaged her head.

"Then, where is that stupid Atsumu?"

"He's on the way with Kiyoomi-san."

Yui frowned. "Omi-san? Why?"

Osamu smiled briefly, but that girl was sure there was a sense of triumph in his rarely seen smile. "You will find out later." He answered casually while handing a portion of Tuna onigiri. "Special. From the best rice in Hyogo."

The girl who he had known since from high school started to grin. "You're terrible when talking about rice. But at least, Inara-chan doesn't have to worry since you only fell in love hardly toward new year rice." She joked while feeding one onigiri into her mouth. Her words made Osamu snort followed by the laughter of Kaito and Inara who had just finished cleaning the shop and joined them at one table.

"Can you imagine Osamu-san having an affair with grains of rice?" Kaito burst out laughing at his own words before Osamu's fist landed on his head. He groaned as the tavern door opened slowly. Shows the whereabouts of Atsumu and Kiyoomi in the doorway.

The Black Jackals' Setter immediately ran towards Yui and hugged her tightly. Putting the girl's body in his arms, aligning her height with his height. Makes her tiptoe a little to equalize over his height. She hadn't finished digesting what was going on, but Atsumu was already kissing her lips. Make some people who were there protest because of his act. Even Inara was busy covering Kaito's eyes because he was too young for that.

"YOU STUPID! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Yui hurriedly pushed his body. The whole thing made her feel giddy and she tried her best to control the smile on her lips while wiping it. Showing a protest face and allowed herself to indulge in her happiness secretly.

"It was because Kyouya kissed you carelessly, making all the reporters talk about both of you, posting your photos on every news portal. I was so annoyed that I wanted to slam my cellphone." Atsumu looked at her with an expression of protest that was no less fierce.

Yui sighed before sitting down again in her chair. "You should just throw it away so you can't reach me anymore," She said. Which of course is just a joke.

"Alright can we start the meeting today?" Osamu cut their fight. "Kiyoomi-san has something you need to know. Especially you Yui."

Kiyoomi took out his cellphone from his pants pocket then played a recording.

'She is the daughter you took to replace my real sister who died long time ago!'

Yui widened her eyes. "Isn't it Kyouya-senpai?" She asked everyone in the room for approval of her curiousity. "Who does that mean? His younger sister? Kyouko? She's not his real sister?" The girl asked a lot of questions which Atsumu answered with a nod. "Whoah, no way." She ruffled her hair. "Then she casually asked this and that from Kyouya-senpai as if it was all hers?" Her hands were shaking hard.

"Yui calm down.." Atsumu whispered as he held her hand.

"How can I calm down?! That bitch is acting so lightheartedly to Kyouya-senpai, not to mention what she has done to us as if she really is the ruler of the entire Katsuki family." Her dark eyes began to fill with tears. She was really angry. "Now she's even forced you to marry her in few days away. Using all the power that doesn't even belong to her. How can I calm down, 'Tsumu?!"

He hurriedly hugged the girl in front of him. "Ssh, everything will be fine. I promise everything will be fine."

Yui linked her arm around him. His touch was heat itself and when she pressed her face against the humid skin on his neck she could feel the steady pulse of his heartbeat trying to calm her down.

'Would this fact end everything?'
'Would all of this be able to stop Atsumu and Kyouko's marriage?'
'Could this make her come back with Atsumu?'

A lot of questions popped up in her head like tangled threads that had no end. The questions were beginning to get annoying and she breathed in deeply against his skin, just along his collarbones, sending a long exhale through her parted lips. Yes. It's true that they're falling apart, but they still hold together till now. Both of them have passed the end, so they chase forever.

'Cause this feeling's all they know.

She closed her eyes tightly, tried to get rid of the bad thoughts then let out a deep sigh. She just thought, if this fact still couldn't stop it all, she can't imagine,

How badly would it actually hurt to say goodbye to him for good? Would she cry in front of him or would she be able to hold the parting smile long enough for him to leave her sight and say 'congratulations on your wedding'?
