"Atsumuuuu. Do you want eggs or not?" The voice, which was as crispy as tempura, came from the kitchen across the bedroom.

The owner of the name briefly rubbed his eyes, collecting lives that were still scattered after waking up.

"Is he still sleeping?"

Atsumu heard that crisp voice murmuring again. Like monologizing to herself.

"Tsumu~ have you woken up?"

He stretched his body for a while, then looked at the clock on his phone.

9:45 PM

That golden-haired man buried his face in the pillow. His head feels heavy because he was sleeping at the wrong hour. He even felt like he heard a voice that he hadn't heard for a long time.

"Why did I hear Yui's voice anyway.." He muttered as he pulled the blanket to cover his body.

'Damn, it's cold'

"Atsumuuuu." The voice came again. "Gosh, is he still sleeping? Didn't you hear me screaming?"

Oh shit!

His misty brown eyes suddenly opened wide. He woke up from his sleep and saw the caramel-colored dress, complete with a black shirt, hanging near his bed. The clothes he was wearing were neatly put in the laundry box and hung behind the door.

"Jeez!" He jumped from his bed, wore a shirt, and walked hurriedly to the kitchen to find his girl peeking at the soup in the pot. Her black hair was wet with the smell of shampoo that tickled his nose. The voice that he thought was just an illusion turned out to be her real voice.

'She's here..'

He gulped and walked slowly behind that girl before finally giving her a warm hug.

"Who let you wear my training clothes?" He whispered and tugged the jersey with 'MSBY' printed on it. Surprised the girl who tapped the side of his head with a spoon.

"Aw! You hurt me, Yui!" Atsumu looked at her with a protesting gaze.

"Who told you to surprise me?" She stared back at him. Crossed her arm, backing up the monochrome-colored kitchen set she was leaning on.

The tall man then caught her waist. Lifted it in one jolt and sat the girl on the table. Made her face right in front of his sight. Well, she was quite tall for a woman with a slim, slender figure. A pure sexiness.

"What are you cooking?"

She glanced at the pot next to her. "Chicken soup. I only found high-protein ingredients in your fridge. I really want to eat rice." She whined a little. Made Atsumu stroked her wet hair when she leaned her head on his shoulder.

"Ah!" She suddenly pulled her head away from his shoulder, then looked at the handsome, smiling face in front of her.

"How is Shoyo doing?"

"Haaaah?" He crunched his eyebrow. "We just met after six months, and you asked me about Shoyo?!" He sighed. "You're so cruel, Yui."

She suddenly gave him another hit on the head.

"Yui!"

"Why didn't you contact me if six months were too long for you not to meet me?" The girl snickered, then slumped from the table, removed the pan from the stove, and moved it to the dining table.

Atsumu looked at her with many questions before finally holding her hand tightly.

"I might ask you to be my girlfriend again."

"No." She said while brushing off his hand. "You have priority now. Being a national player requires a lot of responsibility. Yes, although I know you will definitely go all out when it comes to volleyball." Yui looked at him while offering a bowl of chicken soup. "Eat. You are scary if you haven't eaten."

She chuckled.

"I remember back in Inarizaki when you glared over your fan, who screamed your name when you did serve." She laughed, then pulled her eyes with her finger. Made it sharper and said, "Don't interrupt my serve again.. You oinkin' pigs!"

"Shut up."

She laughed again. "Why? I was scared of you at that time."

He glanced over her.

"Why are you watching our match at that time?"

"It's clearly that I want to watch Osamu." She glanced over back at him and found his surprised expression on his face. "But later, I know what made Osamu spike the ball perfectly: because you toss the ball nicely."

She rested her chin and stared at Atsumu's face. "By any chance, do you know that you're getting more handsome?"

"W-what?!" Atsumu slammed his utensil to the table. "Are you aware of everything you said?"

She shrugged.

"You are indeed a handsome man. I am not lying." She said while stuffing her mouth with another spoonful of chicken soup. "Later, if you want to meet me again, don't drag me from the store just like you did before! Lucky that my boss is your fan."

Atsumu rolled his eyes. Tried to remember the scene when he took a selfie with her boss when he insisted on asking her for a date. "Sorry.." he said, softly brushing her cheek.

His eyes perfectly captured her eyelashes and hair tips moving every time she put another spoon to feed her hunger.

"Stop staring at me, you might fall in love with me again." She tucked some hair strands behind her ear.

"No." He briefly answered. Made her turned to him and saw his soft expression. "I am still in love with you."

Atsumu tossed the ball quite high, which perfectly spiked by the only orange bundle, Hinata Shoyo, and made a loud 'bam' inside the gym.

"Yooosh! Atsumu-san! You're really in good condition! Did something happen?" He stomped back and forth while staring with his big, round eyes.

"Nothing much." Atsumu smirked. "But it's enough to pump my energy."

"Whoaaaa! Then let's have another practice!"

"Sure!"

"You find another woman to sleep with?"

"Kugh." Atsumu dropped the ball from his hand and glared at the one who spoke just now. "Omi urusai!"

Sakusa Kiyomi only gave him a lazy look before pulling up his mask covering half of his face. "It seems like I am right."

"What?! No!" Atsumu covered half of his face, remembering what happened yesterday. A moment that he would trade anything to see her—no, to make her his girl again.

Her voice was still ringing in his ear when he said that he still loved her yesterday.

"I won't allow that. No, if you will ruin whatever you have now to love me. Not again."

He sighed and recalled what happened six months ago when Yui asked him to end their relationship. Not because they didn't love each other, but because that girl didn't want Atsumu to ruin his own future.

It was still in his mind when he beat up the face of the man who almost raped her, who turned out to be an order from some of his fans who were hating the fact that he was in a relationship with her. Because of that incident, he was expelled and was not allowed to play on the court for one league, which enraged her and asked them to break up.

He clearly remembered what that girl said.

"If people want to hurt me, I will be fine, I don't care, but if people want to destroy you and your future because of me, I can't let that happen. We better break up."
