*****

Sometimes you find yourself trying to let go of something
But it's like you have been swimming in the ocean for a very-very long time
And you feel like you belong there
You are one with waves, the warmth of the water
And your body moves in sync with the ocean and you swim around just trying to stay afloat
Then you get tired and you start to drown and you swim back to land
When you get there you just feel so heavy because you lost touch with gravity for so long
And you collapse on the beach as you try to find balance again
And then your feet finds gravity, you stand up and you look at the horizon one last time
And just know that no matter how beautiful the sea was,
And how good it made you feel, it was never yours for you to keep
And someday you will miss it. You know.
And you feel yourself moving with the waves and you dream of diving in
Then you realize your feet was meant for land and not cut out for the ocean
Maybe you're meant to climb trees, or hike hills, or just run really fast
Letting go is not easy, there's nothing quite like swimming in the ocean
Just like how it's natural for your feet to find gravity
It's natural for you to let go. And find your true purpose in life again
The sea is the sea, and you are just you

I have to let go..
But sometimes I find myself waking up at the beach again..

The sound of water that was loudly splashing made the man who was enjoying the water open his eyes. He moved his body slightly for air as someone pushed it over the surface of the water.

"HEH!"

His eyes widened when he saw a woman in full clothes staring at him in a huff.

"Do you want to die?!"

"Huh?" His blue bead blinked. Staring at a worried face—yeah, that's what he caught from the woman who just cursed him. "I'm taking a nap.." he muttered.

"WHAT?!" She screamed. "Are you crazy? Then you will die down there!" She said, huffed as she swam aside, climbed an iron ladder, and jumped to the edge of the pool. Her hand grabbed a pair of shoes that were lying carelessly on the floor. "What a pain." She muttered as she walked toward the dressing room, leaving the one she had just "helped" with full of confusion.

"Why the hell.." He mumbled as he dove back into the water. Enjoying the perfect silence surrounding him.

It hadn't been ten minutes before he heard her voice appear again.

"You're the new kid, aren't you? Shiina's friend?"

Again, the sea-blue-eyed man grumbled to himself. Hurriedly, he swam up to the surface only to find the woman who was questioning him jump into the pool, slide as fast as possible, and swim freestyle.

His eyes widened, and without realizing it, his body automatically slid behind her, swimming as fast as possible to catch up with her in the freestyle, which he liked best.

Beautiful.

Her movements are truly beautiful.

It felt like he wanted to exclaim as loud as possible. He jammed his feet against the wall, pushed himself up as hard as he could, and returned to swim, trying to catch up with her, who was sliding in front of him. His hand reached forward as far as it could go, touched the wall of the pool, and poked his head over the water. Made a few drops of water splash everywhere.
