"Leslie. Wake up. Rise and shine Princess. You have got a lot of work today.", are the first words I hear the next morning. It takes my sleep drugged brain a moment to place them as Brian's.
"Get out of my house." I mumble into the pillow.
"Leslie, my love, you are Luna now. You have so much work to do. Come on. I can only help you till lunch then I've got to get onto my own pile of shit. Come on. Its already 8. The packs waiting to meet you."
At the mention of the pack, I fully wake up and spot Brian's face above mine.
"Now, there you go. I'll be downstairs with coffee." Brian says before walking out.
I take a quick shower and throw on a green sweater and dark jeans. I apply a light layer of makeup and run a brush through my hair before going downstairs.
I find Brian in the kitchen and as soon as he sees me, he gets up and hands me a travelling coffee mug.
"No time to sit Luna. We've got a busy day ahead of us." We walk upstairs again and into a study. There are rows upon rows of books up against the walls. There's a huge desk and chair right in the centre of the room with a window overlooking the back yard behind them. All in all, it's a very masculine room.
"You'll be working here. This is your new office. It's supposed to be Sebastian's but he never uses it."
"Brian. Where is Sebastian and what exactly am I supposed to be doing as the Luna?"
Brian looks at me in surprise for a moment before saying, "Didn't you ever observe your previous Luna?"
"I barely spent any time with my pack. I'm sorry. You're going to have to start from scratch with me." I say a bit sheepishly.
Brian throws his arm around me to give me a quick half hug before yelling, "No worries Leslie. I've got your back girlfriend!"
I laugh before walking around the gigantic desk to sit behind it. I grab a paper and pen and look up eagerly at Brian.
"Alright. List off what I've got to do." I say with my pen poised to take note of my new Luna duties.
