Abusive Four

Chap 26

I can't find my voice.

I stare at her gaping, Shauna is a reckless Dauntless who drinks alcohol till she vomits,makes out during lessons,and always hasher hair messed up.

This isn't Shauna, this is a girl who has her hair in a neat bun that would make you visibly wince for its tightness, her suit is so tight, and her white blouse is tucked into her plaid skirt.

What the freakin hell?!

I think I was too tranced by her sudden transformation that I didn't realize that she was running toward me yet still struggling because of her skirt.
I ease up a little bit and smile once I notice that at least her facial expression is the way I remember it.

"Oh my god tris!" She squeals as she reaches me pulling into a hug

I decide to ignore the ripping sound beneath her armpit.

"Shauna" I breath out once We break apart "I missed you so much!"

"I missed you too! I'm just so busy these days and you know..forget it, I'm just really sorry" she sighs and I could see new produced bags under her eyes that appear to make her much older that she really is.

After a 10 min reunion over hugging and shrieking Shauna adverts her attention to an awkwardly standing Sam.

"Well shall we now?" She says and finds herself a seat toward the end of the table pulling out random paper from her clipboard and a blue pen like a sword ready to be used.

"First step to this plan is a court date,Tris obviously needs authority help and this happens with a lot of couples"

She looks at me with sympathy

"I know but this is Four we are talking about!" I snap at shauna harshly "drop the act for a second and focus, this is Four you know him well enough and you know he probably has a plan under his sleeves"

She looks at me and solemnly nods
"Okay I think that maybe we should set the date up-"

"But we need to contact Four thought" Sam interrupts and leans over to look at her notes. Maybe it was the Lightning but I visibly see Shauna stiff when Sam gets closer to her.

"Exactly." Shauna says "Four is the main person we are fighting against so we need to bring him down, it would be perfect by setting up the court date later and he would be so surprised I wouldn't even think he would have time to get things in order before the date"

"Yea but you know Four Shauna I bet this very second he is probably making plans on something, he is smart you know" I point out "I personally think we should make the court date earlier so her wouldn't have time to go along with whatever scheme he plans to do"

Sam looks at me thoughtfully and turns toward Shauna again
"I think tris is right, setting a court date later would give him more time for planning something like a trap on us"

Shauna nods toward me with satisfaction
"Then it's settled, Although I would need to struggle for a court date,hmm..I can just call them I guess"

Shauna takes out her phone and puts I'm a number

"Yes hello? This is Shauna am I speaking to George?"

She looks visibly relieved
"Okay thank goodness, George we need a court date as soon as possible is there a possible Judge that can take care of both cases?"

After a second her face crumbles again
"Ugh but I don't have time!" She suddenly says and slams her fist into the table startling me

"Okay fine, sorry sir, yes I get it I'll come as soon as possible" she sighs "thank you" and taps the end button turning toward Sam
