"You should be fine," Bruce finished checking my gunshot wound.

"See? I told you Stevie," I roll my eyes.

He sighs, "Are you sure Banner?"

"Steve, you already made me do 6 checkups."

"Fine," Stevie says.

"Finally," I groan, "Im getting food."

I get up from the medical bed and head to the kitchen, where Bucky was sitting, eating a plum.

Oh god. I turn around and try to leave. I hear him come up behind me in the flash of a second and he shoves me up against the fridge door, "Not so fast. We never talked."

I roll my eyes, "Leave me alone Bucky."

"Thea I'm sorry for what happened, okay. But I was young and stupid and selfish. If we were in that situation now I would have chosen you in a heartbeat," his eyes flicker between my lips and eyes. I lick my lips unintentionally and he leans in.

I slapped him.

My hand flies to my mouth, "Oh my god. I am so sorry. I did not mean t-I sorry!"

He adjusts his face and steps away, "No. I'm sorry."

"No Bucky. I've never kissed anyone before, okay? I'm not ready," I confess.

He nods in understanding, "Okay."

He leaves the room and I sigh, sitting down, looking at the bowl of plums across from me.

I just told my brother's best friend I was a virgin. Great.

2 hours later

"I'm having a party," Tony announces, "So wear a dress or something. Get Nat's help."

I scoff, "What you think I'm incapable of dressing myself?"

"Yes."

"Alright, I'll make a bet with you," I tell him, rubbing my hands, "I'm gonna get dressed for that party, and if I do look hot, and you have to admit if I do, you have to do a dare that I will think of later."

"And if you dress up in 80's clothes?" he asks me, "You have to do a dare that I will think of later."

"Deal," I say. Game on.

He leaves and I get dressed.

I pick out a short, sparkly black dress and straighten my hair, wearing dark red lipstick and black smoky eyeshadow.

When I was done, I was in love with the look.
