4 - First Sight

Tanjiro's POV:
I was approached by that girl who just gently tucked my sister in a futon, Nezuko was sound asleep. I looked at that girl one more time and she was different from any other I've seen so far.

She had long black hair and a bit of purple in the end, her clothing was different too. Her eyes were purple, her face was joyful but her scent was almost similar to the demon scent that lingered in my house, but it also had a bit of sadness in it.

And it her scent was human as well...

"Hello, I'm Kibutsuji Nailee." I was cut off by my thoughts when she introduced herself. "Kamado Tanjiro." I said she laid her hand on my cheek and I was nervous, she was gently caressing the spot where Mr.Urokodaki had slapped me across my face.

"Oh my.. Are you hurt?" She asked and her eyes were full of regret. "Do you need anything? Food? or maybe a change?" She was caring and kind, I can tell. She removed her hand from my face and went a few steps to the side.

Once she realized what she's doing she had a shocked and embarrassed expression on her face, I looked at her and she seemed sad?

"Please, excuse my behavior... You'd probably like to see your sister." She stood beside and pointed at the room my sister was in and I ran towards the room she was asleep.

Nailee's POV:
I watched as he straight up ran to the room where i bedded his sister, I missed my twin sister a lot. Apparently he wants to turn her back into a human.. That shot me back to the time when me and Naigee turned our friend back into a human.

Tears pricked in my eyes at the thought of my old best friend who died because of mine and Naigee's fathers hand...
Although me and Naigee weren't innocent on the matter either, by trying to help we assisted on her death.

"Are you alright?" a voice shot me back to reality, it was Urokodaki. "I-i'm alright." I stuttered. I prepared the rest of the futons for Urokodaki, Tanjiro and for myself.

I went to where the young demon girl is at and looked at her in sadness, I knew exactly which demon attacked her family and orphaned them and who also made her turn into a creature she wouldn't have wanted to be...

"I'm really sorry." I muttered to her while I took her hand "I promise I'll take good care of you and your brother. The same way I took care of my sister. I'll see you as my own sister, I'll always be there for you, and I promise you I will help your brother find a cure... One that's more successful than mine and Naigee's."

That night I silently cried myself to sleep, I wanted to help but I couldn't do anything. I lost too much of my own self esteem to fight him. But I will. I will assist on bringing that man down. Muzan Kibutsuji, you are a real monster.
