Nailee's POV:
I finished setting everything up, I started the spell but somehow I started to doubt myself, I was staring at the vial with Naigee's blood and was thinking if i should channel her.'You can do anything if you put your mind to it' Urokodaki's words kept lingering in my head. I decided not to use the vial and do it myself, I need to have faith in myself.
I has started the spell but then a few memories of my past came back to me, memories who will forever haunt me.
I stopped the spell and tears pricked in my eyes. I looked at the demon girl once again and started to wonder.
"What is it about her? Demons don't just fall asleep, do they?" I whispered to myself. "And if they did, it wouldn't take this long for them to wake up..."
I sighed and gathered the courage to start again.
I started the spell all over again and by the time i was almost done and give the sleeping demon girl the command Urokodaki came back.
"How's it going?" He asked, he looked at my skin which had a snake like scales at some places that gave out light.
"It's going fine, Mr.Urokodaki... P-please tell her what she needs to do." I was exhausted. The spell I was doing took out a lot on me. Not to mention it's also the same as telling a predatory animal to not eat flesh. It's not something that goes easily or ever is going to happen.
Mr.Urokodaki was saying words to Nezuko, it was all muffled because the spell was taking out a lot of me. All I could understand was "To see humans as family." and "Never forgive any demon that brings harm onto humans."
After he finished speaking the spell was done, Nezuko will never attack any humans. "It's finished." I said while breathing heavily, the spell I did must've been the hardest one yet. I'd say I'm proud of myself but I'm really not...
I fell down on the floor right after, I was exhausted and the spell took out way too much of me, I felt like I could die at any moment.
I didn't even channel my sister for this spell which would've been smarter, but I didn't want to. Urokodaki had placed my head over a pillow.
I shifted my gaze to the demon girl before I asked. "What's her name?" with a few tears in my eyes.
"Nezuko." Urokodaki answered.
"Nezuko..." I repeated and grabbed the girl's hand before I drifted off into a deep sleep.
I was awoken just before Tanjiro came back to the small cottage, he looked beaten up but to be honest I didn't look much better either.
"I... Have... Returned..." He said in between breaths while getting on his knees. I looked up to Urokodaki and realized his hand was on my head. "Kamado Tanjiro, I accept you as my student." Urokodaki said and a smile was on my face. I drifted once more into deep sleep.
