18 - Natagumo Mountain

"Alright Inosuke, let's do this again." Nailee said handing him the umbrella. "I'm going to bring this thing down." Inosuke shouted before he continuously tried to break the umbrella.

The umbrella didn't budge, it aggravated Inosuke even more and he kept applying more pressure by trying to break it. "You can do it!" Nailee cheered him on.

The umbrella didn't even crack at all. Nailee even used her demon art on it but it didn't break either, she even set it on fire using sorcery and it still did no damage. They've been trying to break that umbrella for days with no results.

Meanwhile Nezuko had gotten out her box once again and noticed Zenitsu looking at her. "Nezuko-chan!" is all he said.

Nailee heard someone call Nezuko's name over and over repeatedly. She sighed and went over at Inosuke and snatched the umbrella from his hand. "Give me that." She stated.

"What the... WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TAKING AWA-" Inosuke started to shout but was cut off by a hit with the umbrella on his boar mask.

Nailee went in front of their room and calmly opened the shoji door and sighed again.

She saw Nezuko being chased by Zenitsu all over the room. Nezuko was cornered and Zenitsu was still swooning over her.

Nailee rolled her eyes and held up her umbrella. "STOP FOLLOWING HER ALREADY!" She yelled and hit him with the umbrella.

Zenitsu took a good look at Nailee and started to swoon. The umbrella didn't break once again, even tho outside Inosuke and her tried to break it apart.

"Nailee-chan..." Zenitsu cooed at her. Nailee's eyes widened and she walked back a few steps. Nailee held the umbrella closely in case he'd try to touch her or Nezuko.

"Nailee-chan. Nezuko-chan." Zenitsu cooed and the two demon girls looked at each other in worry to be harassed. Tanjiro got in front of the two girls with open arms to block Zenitsu from charging at them.

"Zenitsu stop." he said. Zenitsu stared at him before he started to swoon once again.
"Tan.. ji.. ro!" He said.

They were all uncomfortable at Zenitsu's gross and vile behavior and started to run away from him in circles. "Let's be friends, Tanjiro!" He yelled in joy.

"Stop chasing us! I beg you to stop!" Nailee yelled then she realized she had her umbrella. "I can put an end to this." She said as she kept running away in circles from Zenitsu's constant chase for her, Nezuko and Tanjiro.

She turned around holding her umbrella up and her head hit the one of Tanjiro and since his head is built like a rock and she saw stars for a while.

Inosuke barged in and shouted his boar like shout. He hit Tanjiro on his back using his head and caused him to fall. "W-what was that for?" Tanjiro asked but Inosuke kept shouting, scaring everyone away.

Meanwhile Nailee was laying her head in Nezuko's lap, still seeing stars from Tanjiro accidentally head butting her.

Inosuke started to chase after Tanjiro and Zenitsu while Nezuko was holding Nailee's head on her lap. "Stop chasing us, Inosuke!" Tanjiro yelled.

The next day after that the crow flew in and landed on Tanjiro's hand. the three boy were completely healed, and ready for their next mission.

"North-northeast! North-northeast! Your next mission is north-northeast!" The crow said. "The three of you are to go to Mt. Natagumo! You too!" The crow added, gazing up to Nailee on the last part. "Head to Mt. Natagumo!"

"Well then, let's get going!" Nailee cheered.

They all changed into their usual clothing and were about to leave, Nailee didn't want to let go off the umbrella but eventually did.

Inosuke caused trouble and wanted to kill the old lady for lighting up sparks as good luck for battle. Luckily Tanjiro and Zenitsu stopped him.

They tried to tell Inosuke what the old lady meant before they left, he was completely clueless on everything and didn't understand a thing.

Their running turned into a little race between them. Nailee was in front of Inosuke, of course Inosuke couldn't allow himself to be beat by a girl.

"Have I ever told you," Inosuke started, Nailee hummed in response. "That you're a filthy demon?" That's when everyone stopped running.

"Is.. Is that a-all y-y-you think of me?..." Nailee asked between sobs. "INOSUKE!!!!" Tanjiro and Zenitsu yelled.

Inosuke was forced to apologize, Nailee didn't forgive him though.

Once they reached that mountain it was nighttime. Zenitsu stopped them because he was scared to enter the mountain. They suggested him to stay where he is while they all made their way there. They noticed a swordsman that was on the ground.

He was pulled away by some force or strings like he was a puppet. Nailee had somewhat of an idea of the demons that could be responsible for this, but she wasn't sure. Spider webs were everywhere.

Nailee saw a little girl up in the trees, She decided to jump up to her and leaving Tanjiro and Inosuke behind.

"Hey! Where do you think you're going?" Inosuke shouted at Nailee. "I'll be right back, I just saw something." She replied and started to jump at another tree branch.

The little girl Nailee saw seemed about her age, maybe a little older. All it took was one good glance to the girls features for her to know who she's dealing with.

The little girl jumped from tree to tree which lead to Nailee following her. She stopped once she reached a branch of a tree and Nailee was on the branch opposed to the tree the demon girl was on.

She had white hair and pale skin, a few red dots on her face. A smaller demon came close to the demon girl, the same features as her. Nailee realized that this mountain was being haunted by Lower Moon Five and his family of assorted strangers that were desperate for comfort.

"Where the hell is he?" Nailee asked the demon girl. "Who?" She asked. Nailee grew slightly irritated.

"Your brother, Rui? Where the hell is he?" She asked once again. Veins popped on her face and her eyes turned demon like.

The demon girl remained silent. The disobedience she gave to Nailee made her get aggravated even more, she hated Rui, she wanted to burn him.

"Answer me for god's sake or I will burn you to crisps." Nailee shouted at her. "Big sister, who is that?" The smaller demon asked her.

"I am Kibutsuji Nailee, the daughter of the progenitor of all demons." Nailee said with her hand on her chest.

"And I asked you a question, it would be better for us all if you answered it." She added with spite in her words. She was angry, and it was obvious. The demon girl stood her head low which aggravated her even more than her disobedience.

"All right, that's it. If you don't wanna answer me, I'll resort to violence." Nailee shouted slightly. "Briar vines." She said.

Vines of briars started to climb up to the tree the two spider demons were on. As soon as they reached them they tried to jump but the vines were quicker and hooked themselves on their legs.

The briars pulled both of the demons down, they bore into their skin and they let out hisses of pain, the briars only bore into their skin more and blood started to ooze out of their skin.

The briars kept them on a tight hold piercing their bodies with their thorns and pulling them down on the ground.

Nailee jumped down from the branch she was on and swiftly landed on her two feet meanwhile the demons were screaming out in pain and agony.

'This isn't right...' She thought and the vines of briars stopped piercing them.

'Am I turning like him..?'
