11 - Turned Leaf

Nailee's POV;
I arrived to a town northwest from Urokodaki's house. Night was about to hit.

'The time for demon's to come out and feed is right around the corner.'

An elderly man and a woman stopped me from walking further. "Young girl, you shouldn't be outside here knowing the incidents with the girls of your age." The old man said.

"I'll be fine, honorable elders. My house is just around the corner." I lied to them. They offered me to walk me to my house in case anything happens but that can't be done. They're old and frail against a demon they really aren't in the safe side, I told them it's not necessary but they were persistent, eventually I got them off my back.

This was definitely the town I was looking for. I had to find Tanjiro, I noticed the night had fallen upon and I was walking on the streets alone. I heard noises coming from a street alley and decided to check it out.

I saw Tanjiro there fighting three demons that looked identical. One was in front of him and the another one came from the ground.

I ran towards Tanjiro and pushed the demon in front of him aside using my spells and the other one was hit by Nezuko who quickly opened the door of the box before it could pierce Tanjiro's head open.

"Tanjiro! Thank goodness you're alright." I said as I ran towards him. "Nailee? What are you doing here? Get behind me!" He asked surprised.

"I have actual powers, I don't need your protection. And I came here to fight." I said. "Whether you like it or not." I said before I sent one of the demons flying back to the other.

"Why would a mere human be accompanying two demons?" One of the demons said.

Nezuko got out her box and me and her watched as one of the demons submerged to the ground. Nezuko walked towards the boy that held an unconscious girl and watched her as she cupped both of their faces. In a way I knew she was seeing her dead siblings, I looked over at Tanjiro who was just staring at her.

"Nezuko..." Is all he muttered out. Nezuko turned around and watched as two puddles of black goo appeared. Suddenly I remembered what Urokodaki had said when I cast the spell on her

"All humans are your family.", "Protect humans.", "The demons are the enemy.", "Never forgive any demon, that brings harm onto humans."

Me and Nezuko looked at each other before we walked a few steps and turned into our demon forms, veins popped out my forehead and a string of white hair appeared and turned into a snake.

We quickened our pace and jumped at the two demons who appeared from the ground, I jumped as Nezuko put her leg up to kick them.

They both disappeared and me and Nezuko left cracks and dents on the ground. "Nezuko, Nailee. Get back here!" Tanjiro said and me and Nezuko ran to him

I was running behind Nezuko when suddenly another puddle appeared and one of the demons got out. "NEZUKO!" Tanjiro yelled out and Nezuko jumped over the demon. Since I was behind her I quickly kicked the demon landing a clean hit on his head before i used it to jump right next to Nezuko.

"Nailee can you protect these two?" Tanjiro asked. I nodded in response when suddenly a puddle appeared and one of the demons jumped out and attacked Tanjiro who dodged it, it then proceeded to attack Nezuko.

"Nezuko?" Tanjiro yelled when the demon attacked Nezuko "I'm going underground. I want you and Nailee to protect those two!" The siblings looked at each other. "You can do that right?" Tanjiro asked and Nezuko nodded in response.

"Eclipse!" I yelled out as a sphere appeared around me and the two humans.
"I got this Tanjiro, GO!" I said and Tanjiro nodded and went underground.
"NEZUKO BE CAREFUL!" I yelled at her while I watched the demon was about to attack.

The demon was looking at me, he looked confused. His face looked as if he recognized me but didn't know when he saw me, then he remembered me.

"You... now I remember who you are. You're the first daughter." The demon said before he charged at the sphere, Nezuko however kicked him in the stomach and made him stop and take a few steps back from the sphere I created.

I watched as Nezuko was fighting the demon and I was struggling to keep up the sphere that's supposed to protect me and the two humans. "The first daughter? What did he mean by that?" The boy asked.

"It means I'm the first born of his master." I said as i was struggling to keep the sphere.
"Is that supposed to be worrying?" He looked blue.

"Depends on how you see it." I smiled.

The demon created a puddle but Nezuko stopped him from jumping in, she was fighting the demon and so bravely too.

I watched as the demon got a hit on her forehead making it bleed. "NEZUKO!" I yelled out from the sphere. The demon was about to strike again, that's when Tanjiro came to her rescue, he jumped out of a puddle and chopped off the demon's arm using his sword. "Hands off my sister." He said before slicing his other arm.

The demon was cornered and fell on his bottom. "You give a scent of rotten oil. It's a horrible smell! How many people have you killed?" Tanjiro yelled. "Listen" the demon yelled. "If women live any longer they turn ugly and start tasting like crap! So, we killed them for their own good!" the demon yelled.

I ran out the sphere but still kept it on and used my bare nails to cut through his mouth. "How dare you speak so low on women?!" I said "You should be ashamed of yourself!!" I yelled.

"Never mind." Tanjiro said as he pulled closer "You're going to tell me what you know about Muzan Kibutsuji."

The demon looked out of it, I knew talking about Muzan or uttering any of the Kibutsujis names would be an instant death sentence for the demon that did it, which is why I also removed the curse from Nezuko.

"I-I can't tell you." The demon stuttered in fear multiple times.
"I can't tell you, all right?" The demon said. He looked over at me looking angry "But she can!" He said while he grew his arms back and charged at me.

I got ready to fight him but Tanjiro was one step ahead of me.

Tanjiro quickly cut his arms and head off as I backed away from the demon's decapitated body.

I had already told him everything I knew about Muzan. "Nezuko!" Tanjiro said as he turned around. She was sound asleep, I went to the two humans and removed the sphere from them. "Are you two alright?" I asked. "Y-yeah, thank you." the boy said as he fell on his knees and the girl was unconscious laying on the wall.

Tanjiro joined in and the boy caused a commotion there, He even grabbed onto his uniform. Tanjiro took away his hand and have him a piece of cloth which I assume was from the demon. Tanjiro turned around and started walking, I walked beside him.

"I-" the boy stopped "I'm sorry! That was an awful thing to day! Please forgive me! I'm so sorry!" The boy cried and Tanjiro turned around and waved at him.

"I'm leaving that young woman in your hands!" Tanjiro said before he turned around and started walking again.

"All right!" The boy said while crying, the sun was rising and me and Tanjiro were walking away.

His crow was flying above us, Tanjiro looked angry not at the crow but at something else. His hands were in a fist.

The crow landed on Tanjiro's shoulder. "Next up, Asakusa, Tokyo! Rumors of a demon lurking there!" The crow said. Tanjiro was slightly annoyed.
"I'm headed to my next mission already?" Tanjiro asked. "Oh yes, you are!" The crow said spreading one of its wings out.

"Well, we got our next mission. NOW LETS GO! Let's kick some demon butt!" I said while I put my arm out on Tanjiro's shoulder.

"Just shut up and go already!" The crow said.
