The booming music, the flashing lights, and the sweaty people grinding their bodies together registered to my senses. It was really hard focusing especially when Cross' hands never left my waist. I tried to wiggle out but he wouldn't budge, I looked up at him and saw he wasn't even looking at me. He just looked calm but his hands stayed there  sending electricity to my entire body. My stomach felt funny, maybe I was having constipation or something.

"One margaret" Cross ordered as we took a seat when we reached the mini bar where they serve drinks. His hands left my waist and suddenly I could breath freely now. I did't really know I was holding my breath.

"Here we go"  The bartender immediately poured some on a glass and slid it to Cross.

"Me too" I say sighing. I really need one right now.

"Nuh-uh. You shouldn't"

 I glared at him.

"And why would I listen to you, Mr. Villaverde? I can do whatever I want to in my life" I reiterated.

"Well, because I think we should do what we are here for first" Cross tipped the glass on his lips. "Business first" he added. I frowned at this, I wasn't really in the mood to joke around.

"Then why are you drinking?" I pointed at his drink while he was still sipping it, as if taunting me.

"Because I can, besides, I have high tolerance in alcohol" he sipped again ever so slowly and smugly smiled at me. This jerk.

"Hey sup?"

I glared at Daniel who suddenly decided to pop in the scene. Daniel raised his hands.

"Chill, M. You seemed to be in a bad mood. Don't worry I wasn't fooling around with other girls, I'm faithful to you darling" he winked at me. If I was on my normal mood I'd just ignore him but I wasn't in that mod right now.

"Fuck off" I cursed and they knew I was serious.

"Whoah, Misak-

"Shut the fuck up, Cross" I glared once again at him. His face went hard and I knew I striked a nerve.

"Okay, have it your way Misaki" He stood up briskly and went away. Ha, whatever. I ordered as many as I want as Daniel and the bartender stood awkwardly. I didn't care.

"So, um, what are we gonna do now?"

I ignored Daniel and walked away without looking back or acknowledging him.

I was seriously on my red day and I am in my wits end. I crossed my arms and grudgingly looked at the dancers on the floor. It was making me more mad so I just looked for the possible entrance of the tunnel. And it was there, there was a sign do not enter and it looked out of this place. There were no one guarding it so it would be just easy to get in.

I looked for Cross and Daniel. They were nowhere to be found. They weren't on the mini bar and then I spotted Cross on the dance floor. He was just standing there and there was this girl grinding and dancing  and almost letting her obviously cup E boobs touch Cross' arm. So this is what he calls 'business first'? Wow, I ain't surprised.

"Hey, mind if we dance?"

A guy approached me wearing a sweet smile. Actually, compared to other guys here he was decent looking.  He's wearing a simple V neck shirt and ripped jeans but his appeal was overwhelming. He cute. But looks can be deceiving what if he was into drugs or something. When he saw my hesitation, he held out his hand.

"Come on, I'm not gonna hurt you or anything. I'll just lift up your mood. You seem to be in a bad one. I'm Michael by the way" he says. I bit my lip and contemplated what to do.

A little dance wouldn't hurt.

"Okay. Sarah" I tried to smile at him as we both shook hands. He pulled me towards the dancefloor and we started to dance in the rhythm.

I saw Cross eyes focus unto us, we were just a few meters from us. I didn't acknowledge him and pretended he wasn't there. He drew nearer to the girl who seemed to enjoy it as he touched her waist a little.  The girl giggled and damn I didn't know why but I wanted to drown her in the sewer.

What's wrong with me?

I just didn't mind them as Michael and I got closer and, fudge, his smell distracted me. He freaking smelt nice. His hands went to my waist softly but I let him.  Especially when I saw the grim expression of Cross. I smirked and moved my hips sensually. Michaels hands roamed from my waist to my hip. I turned my back towards Michael and continued to dance. I leaned my back unto his chest and slowly slid down while still moving my hips.

"Damn" Michael muttered under his breath.

I continued to dance and just as I was enjoying it someone pulled me away from Michael. It was Daniel.

"Hey-

"Get away from her" Cross warned Michael. I was about to complain but when I saw how dangerous he was glaring at Michael, my mouth zipped. This was the first time I saw him so pissed off.  Cross stared Michael down. Michael gave up first and puts her hands up in the air but was still glaring at him, before he walked away he gave me  his calling card.

"Call me" he winked and walked away. Before I could even read it, Daniel snatched it away from my hand. I glared at Daniel as he tossed it away like it was nothing.

"Let's go" We then walked towards the door where its supposed to lead to our destination.

Cross hands were still on mine as he was pulling me. We stopped as soon as we faced the huge steel door.

"Daniel, you're the look out" Cross turned to Daniel and Daniel nodded in reply. We wear our  earpiece so communication wouldn't be a problem.

"Be careful there" he reminded me as he let go of my hand. I didn't wait for Cross as I pushed the steel door open and went inside. I started descending the stairs as Cross followed me.

"Misaki" he suddenly calls and I continued heading down. I kept my hand in my purse, expecting for an enemy. The clicking of my stilettoes were the only sound heard as the music outside fainted by the second. It's pretty dark here.

It's a contrast from the modern styled club. Here it's like were heading in the dungeon in the palace. Like, they even use fire stand as light. At the end of the stairs there was a big wooden door that was slightly ajar. I burst it open and held my gun up. There was no one there.

A hand rested on my shoulder.

I pointed my gun at the person.

"Whoah" Cross backed away. I raised my eyebrow at him. I lowered my gun and looked at him in the eyes. He's wearing a somewhat guilty look.

"Misaki, will you please stop pulling the silet treatment on me? I'm sorry. Okay? I don't know what had gotten on me" Cross scratched the back of his neck.

"Okay. It's fine. Sorry for being a brat earlier" I sighed trying to ignore the fact that Cross Villaverde is actually capable of saying sorry.

"Don't worry 'bout it. Just don't do that again" he mutters under his breath.

"Do what?"

"Nothing. Let's just go" He avoided my gaze. I smirked.

I think I know what he meant.
