Next stop: Villaverde Company.
"Thank God we were dressed like this right?" Daniel points out as we looked out the window at the tall buildings. He's right we'd blend in.
"I don't understand" I say looking at the skyscrapers.
"Me either" Cross agreed beside me.
"Me too" Daniel added in a deep serious voice.
"Wait. What are we talkinh about again?" Daniel looks at us blankly. I wasn't in the mood to be sassy so I sighed.
"It's just that we went through great lengths and Cross was nearly killed and then we'd just end up here on this fucking building? Mr. Villaverde's building? I wouldn't be surprised if the treasures are just hidden in the drawers" I was annoyed.
"I agree. I really thought Dad hid it in a more secretive place, you know, somewhere...else" Cross.
"What's the bad in that? It'll be much easier and we could get out of this mess quick" Daniel said in a matter-of-fact tone.
"Well, you have a point there. Okay, let's just get this over with" I dismissed. I turned to Cross, "any idea where your dad could have placed it here?"
He shook his head.
"I think there were no vaults there. Well, last time I came here was a couple of years ago. But I know that the answers to our questions is on Dad's office" Cross looked at the top floor.
"Okay, so what's the plan?" Daniel chimes in.
"Gather around" I ordered and they complied.

With my chin up I confidently walked towards the entrance with Cross and Daniel tailing behind me. There were no expressions on their faces and to be honest, they're really doing good in this business. According to the information from Cross their trusted secretary was the one handling the company right now because he still wasn't ready for the responsibility.
The two guards straightened up aa if alerted. They're both bulky men with guns at their sides but I knew I could take them down easily but I've got to stick to the plan. To not get any attention and we would get what we wanted smoothly. And our lives would go back to normal.
"Sarah Walker" I held my ID for them to see. They examined it for a while and glancing at me, scrutinizingly. "I'm here to talk about some investments" I say with some English accent. The guard looked at me from head to toe and I stopped myself from reacting. They ran a metal detector through my briefcase and I was thankful were designed not to be detected.
They nodded and let us in. We were careful to avoid cameras. Because in one small mistake they could identify us, find us and attack.
When we hot in and was deep in the crowd, we seperated. One was for diversion, other was to support and protect and the other was attack and get what we were here for.
I stopped near the corner and pretended that i was talking on the phone. After a while, someone screamed in the crowd and everyone panicked. I narrowed my eyes on the crowd and saw a limp body on the floor as Cross walked away. I smirked. He really did it. I actually thought he would falter. A while ago, I gave him some syringe with a temporary paralyzing content to be injected unto someone for diversion. The effect will last for 1 hour.
