"Are you going to keep ignoring me?"

Nudge. Nudge. Nudge.

"God woman! What is it?!" Avika exclaimed, giving her best friend an annoyed look.

Trisha grinned at her triumphantly "Didn't know it would actually work"

Avika smacked her arm before adjusting the cushion behind her head and turning her attention back to the book she had been reading.

"One of these days I am going to throw that iPad in the trash" Trisha muttered under her breath.

"The day you do that I will disown you," Avika remarked, her eyes not wavering from the screen.

"So you hear this but you don't hear me saying I am bored from the past one hour?"

Avika rolled her eyes. "Call Sania and see how long it will take for her to reach"

Trisha tried to call her but her phone seemed out of coverage. She looked at Avika "Why is her phone always out of coverage?"

Avika almost opened her mouth to answer when someone knocked at her door.

"Come in!" Trisha yelled.

Anirudh opened the door ajar and peeped in. A look of disappointment clouded his features realising the person he was looking for was yet to arrive.

"If you're looking for Sania then let me tell you, she's running late as usual" Trisha chirped.

"As if I can't see" he deadpanned before walking in and making himself comfortable on the bean bag.

Avika sat up, narrowing her eyes at her brother "Why are you still here? Didn't you have a match to watch?"

He shrugged "I can watch it here"

"No!"

"Arey but—"

"No means no dada. We have already planned everythi—"

"Which by the way is miserably failing" Trisha piped in.

Avika glared at her. If looks could kill Trisha would be in her grave by now.

"What?!" Trisha exclaimed exasperated "you know it's the truth. We don't even know when Sania is coming and it's our last day of vacation for fuck's sake"

"Whose side are you on?" Avika asked pointedly.

"I am on no one's side but I really want to spend my last day nicely. Is it too much to ask for?" Trisha reasoned.
