-MEETING MARCUS-

Violet had ended up falling asleep where she had sat down which now that she thought about it was the stupidest thing. She could of easily been killed or taken, the last city was mostly in ruins hardly any buildings where left standing. Violet didn't know how long it'd been but it had to be at least a day, she rubbed the ashes and dirt from her face coughing up the last bit of smoke in her lungs.

I guess being passed out in a smoking building for hours didn't do her any good. She had a massive head ache along with dried blood under her nose and on her mouth. This was most likely a result from using to much energy and almost killing herself. She grunted as she felt her skull pounding, it was bright out which bothered her. She rubbed her eyes trying to adjust to the bright sun, she looked around to make sure there was no one around that would cause harm.

She tried to dust the caked on dirt on her black cargo pants and her black tank top and slightly ripped flannel jacket. She threw off her flannel deciding it had to much rips to wear leaving her in a black tank top that barely fit her chest. She brought her hands to her jet black hair only to feel somewhat died blood. She gently combed through it but ultimately gave up. The first thing that was her priority was getting a set of clothes, because once night hit it'd get cold. She walked slightly stumbling over the big chunks of concrete littering the floor from broken down buildings.

Looking around it was hard to even see the ground since there was so much boulders on the ground. She tried to carefully climb over the rocky land without twisting an ankle. The area looked deserted, i mean who would want to live in a broken down building. Actually cross that a lot of cranks and people would want to, her thoughts where interrupted by someone pushing her forward causing her to fall on her knees before a blindfold was put over her eyes blocking her vision. "Let me go" she grunted trying to let her hands loose, she tried to focus on what the land used to look like before imagining her dagger. Sure enough her dagger slipped from the holder glowing with a red energy, she smirked as they quickly let her go cowering back as she ripped the cover off her eyes.

She turned around and saw a boy with dark brown hair and dark brown eyes looking around in his late teen years "who the hell are you?" she asked confused. "Don't hurt me, i was sent to come get you" he spoke frightened, "by who?" she called angry but still confused. "Your not from WCKED are you?" she asked, although it was a stupid question "no, no i was sent by Tyler" at this Violets ears shot up. "Where is he?" she asked looking around, "he's in hiding please just let me take you to him, i was told not to return till i found you. I've been searching for you in broken rubble for days" days she'd been out for days.

"Take me to him" she said as she made her dagger go back into her pocket. He quickly nodded getting up gesturing for her to follow him, she raised an eyebrow before following him. "Who are you" she asked as they began to naked there way down the rubble. "My names Marcus, Marcus Arguello" he said to me with a soft smile, she returned it or did her best to. As he walked in front of her she took the time to study him, he had dark curly hair he looked a bit taller than her. She had noticed the scar the stretched from his right top of his eyebrow down to the bottom of his eye. She wondered how she got it, it looked old it was just a scar at this point.

She walked next to him in silent not sure what to say, once they had crossed the large broken concrete path he led her behind a building. She thought they were there but boy was she wrong when she saw him get on a black motorcycle. She stood shocked for a second as she watched him get on turning on the engine. He looked up innocently "aren't you coming?" as he took the stand of leaning on his leg. She smiled as she quickly ran getting on the back holding onto his torso. He laughed at how excited Violet looked before quickly revving the engine and speeding on. They did a sharp turn quickly leaning on a side before they leveled again zooming off, Violet liked the wind as it hit her hair and her face. It made her feel free, alive it was like she wasn't being weighed down by anything. They were driving down a long road as Violet slowly stood up holding onto Marcus's shoulders, "you ok back there?" he called over the wind to which she replied "amazing" as she let go of his shoulders letting her hands up in the air feeling the wind pass her.

She felt amazing as she let out a laugh closing her eyes feeling the wind, she stayed like that for a couple minutes before sitting back down wrapping her arms around Marcus's chest laying her head on his back.

And for a moment she felt happy and free with her soon to be new friend, not thinking about her friends. Not thinking about Newt that was dead, all that was out of her head in that moment.
