Subject X1- Lost

CHAPTER 10

-BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE-

After about an hour of driving Marcus realized where they were going, "Violet you're aware were we're going, yes?" Marcus asked a little scared and worried. "Of coarse i know where we're going, look i have a plan" she began looking in the rear view mirror. "We haven't even talk about this" Marcus said from the back, "you'll see" Violet muttered as she sped off.

When they could now see the building in the distance close enough Violet stopped the truck before getting off. The boys followed unsure what to do as Violet walked forward, she looked around the ground for a stick before she found a big branch. Newt leaned on the front of the hood while Marcus stood behind Violet watching her. Violet took the branch dragging it on the somewhat orange dirt creating a line. Violet took a deep breath before letting a sonic wave in front of her and over the large warehouse buildings. She huffed before pivoting turning towards the boys "im going to go in and get his stock of whatever he has, okay" she spoke looking at both of them, "what no we're coming with you" Marcus spoke up from in front of her.

"No your staying here now goodbye" she spoke quickly before stepping backwards crossing the line, she disappeared from sight leaving the boys amazed. "Your not seriously letting her go in there by herself right?" Marcus turned to Newt, "of coarse not, I'm not a bloody idiot" he said before taking out his pistol and following Violet. Marcus huffed thinking what to do before he decided to follow them "this is going to get me killed" he muttered making his way inside the warehouse.

When he got inside he saw Violet by the explosives, "woah careful there" Marucs whispered as he got closer. "Ive got a plan" she spoke quickly picking up parts and heading towards the storage room. "Does it involve you blowing up this place with us in it?" Marcus asked watching Violet frantically wire up the explosives to the drums. When she didn't stop Marcus grabbed both her hands in his, "talk to me" he whispered. She was about to respond when Newt interrupted them "done" he said coming closer.

"Look i got the idea from when we escaped with Jorge, they have explosives but nothing to trigger them, if i wire this up i can use the drums to set it off. Plus Newt turned on the gas upstairs" Violet exclaimed while she finished the explosives. When she finished she stepped back "now i need you guys to get to the truck" she said walking forward, "what no we're not leaving you" Newt said. Violet looked into his eyes she adored so much stepping forward, she cupped his cheek in her hand keeping eye contact.

"You will go to the truck and not look back" Violet whispered before kissing his cheek.

His pupils dilated before he nodded turning around and walking away she turned to Marcus,

"follow Newt don't look back" she whispered.

He nodded walking away towards Newt who was outside by now, she turned walking towards the drums "family reunion so soon sissy" Tyler spoke from behind her. "I know how much you where dying to see me" she said before slowly turning around, he let out a chuckle before speeding forward. She quickly tilted her head before bringing her arm forward throwing him behind her she turned realizing he set of the drums.

She quickly turned running as fast as she could, she felt everything in slow motion as as she got out of the building. She didn't realized till she made it outside and saw Marcus and Newt running in slow motion towards her. She cursed under her breath quickly turning around, she saw as Tyler slowly began emerging from the warehouse. He was slower than her, the flames slowly followed behind Tyler as he got closer to Violet.

She quickly brought her hands up sliding them past each other as a large red force field appeared Tyler sped up knocking her off her feet as the time went back to normal. Violet felt her head pounding as the world went on mute she could only hear ringing. "Violet!" she kept hearing though she could only see Tyler on top of her.

"You can't force field or you'll kill yourself" he whispered harshly, "if i go to hell i'm dragging you down with me" she spat in his face as she casted a larger shield around the building and both Tyler and Violet. "No!" he yelled just as the fire hit them throwing them to the side. Violet felt her muscles burn not just from the fire, but also from trying to hold up the shield.

From afar both the boys pounded on the force field calling Violets name but all they could see is dark smoke and orange bright flames.

Once the field fell they saw what neither of them expected, though it did haunt them.
