To Violets surprise she wakes up alive and not in fact in hell. She stumbles through yet again more problems which make her look like she's living a curse. On to...
For a while they only drove, in peace and silence before they quickly took out a map when they realized they didn't know where they were going.
"Is that it" Marcus called as another island came into view "no Marc-" Violet began out of habit but stopped when she saw other boats docked. "Guys...i think this is it" Violet called as she quickly got up, she brought her hand up to cover the sun as they had been traveling for two days now.
When they got closer they started seeing familiar faces and immediately got excited "are you guys seeing this..." she said as she looked at the whole island. She stopped when she felt a bump, she looked down realizing they landed. She was stuck for a second before she quickly jumped down. The boys where slowly following behind still looking around amazed.
They walked further into the island till one face stuck out "Aris?" Violet questioned as her voice cracked slightly. Aris turned from talking to Harriet and Sonya as he often did, "holy shit" he breathed as he slowly got up, eyes not leaving the girl standing in front of him. "Violet?" he asked as he slowly walked closer, they both quickly ran to each other engulfing in a long hug.
Violet could feel her eyes begin to water, and Aris couldn't deny he was crying either. When they pulled away they both stayed close observing each other before they both gave a laugh of relief. Violet turned when she heard other familiar voices, "Newt?" Thomas asked as both him and Minho came closer.
At this point both Minho and Thomas had watery eyes, Newt broke into a smile as they quickly came together the trio hugging. They all looked around at each other smiling. When all the friends broke apart Violet stepped next to Marcus not wanting to make him feel lonely. "Guys, this is Marcus, a friend" Violet called to the group, they responded with smiles and 'heys'. Marcus looked sheepishly when he realized he didn't really have friends here like the rest of the people.
"Violet" the raven haired girl heard from next to her, she quickly turned at the sight of Nick. "Nick" she breathed as she quickly hugged him, he picked her up slightly spinning her in a circle before letting her down. "Never do that again do you hear me" he questioned protectively, Violet gave a small laugh.
Even if the happiness wouldn't last long, they where great full to be reunited once more.

That's another book done, i'm thinking about making another one since The Maze Runner movies didn't show there life in the island. Besides Newt and Violets story is just getting started, talk about a slow burn.
