I wake up and look up at Bobby. He's still peacefully sleeping. His mouth is slightly open, he looks so cute.

I decide to go get dressed and see what time it is, but when I move to get up, Bobby smiles and says, "Leaving so soon beautiful?"
I blush. "Uhm, what time is it Icee?"
He looks at his watch. "11 am, why?"
I swear. "John's probably looking for me and Rouge's probably looking for you."
Bobby smiles at me. "I don't care that Rouge's looking for me. I just spent the night cuddling the most beautiful girl I've ever met."
I smirk. "Quite the smooth talker aren't you Icee? Well, this girl needs to go get dressed and show her brother that she's okay."
Bobby frowns slightly. "Awh, do you have to go? I'm sure John wouldn't mind. Maybe I could smoothly talk you into taking another nap with me?"
I blush as I reply without thinking. "You wouldn't have to convince me to nap with you."
Bobby smiles and opens his arms. "Well, then come on back."
I roll my eyes. "Fine, but only for a little. Cause John's probably worried sick."
Bobby wraps his arms around me as I sit down. I lean my head onto his chest like I had last night.
"See? Not so bad." Bobby smugly said.
"If it had been, I wouldn't be here again." I replied.
He chuckled as I fell asleep again.

I woke up to John shaking me. "Joelie! Wake up!"

"I'm up, I'm up. What is it?" I asked, still kinda sleepy.

"Why are you here, with him, and not in your bedroom?" He asked annoyed.

"Who made you father? John, I couldn't sleep so I walked down here and found Bobby. I sat next to him and I woke up like this." I explained.

"Well, it's three o' clock. Professor X has been waiting for you two for hours. He has everyone looking all over the mansion. Just be happy that I found you and not Rogue. She would've killed you in your sleep." John sighed.

"Fine. I'm up. See?" I stood up and Bobby immediately woke up.

"That was the best nap I've ever taken." He said as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes.

"Yeah? Well then good luck trying to recreate it. Joelie needs to sleep in her own bed. By herself." John growled.

"Oh, morning John. Didn't see you there." Bobby said nonchalantly.

"Sure. We'll go with that. C'mon Joelie." John said as he dragged me out of the room.

"Hey! What was that? Jesus John! Let me go!" I protested as he was dragging me down the hallway towards my room.

"Joelie, I don't want you hanging out with him. I don't like him. At all." John said.

"Well, I do and just because your my brother doesn't make you responsible for me! I can take care of myself, thank you very much." I said, raising my voice.

"I am responsible for you. You're the only family I've got left!" John said, raising his voice above mine.

"Well, if you want to keep me, I suggest you stop acting like you're my parent, cause you're not!" I screamed. I broke out of his grasp and ran to my room. As soon as I got there, I slammed the door.

"Why does he have to be so difficult?" I asked myself. "Why can't he see that I am fully capable of taking care of myself? I'm not a defenseless little girl anymore!"

A soft knocking on my door broke my temper tantrum. "Joelie? Are you okay?" It was Bobby.

"Yeah. I'm fine. Just getting my anger out in a healthy way." I said, giggling at my own joke.

"Um, okay? I was wondering if you'd like to sit at my table for dinner tonight? Or I could sit at yours, if John doesn't blow me to smitherines."

"That would be great. I'll see you then Icee."

"Okie dokie. See you later beautiful." He said. I could hear the smile in his voice.

I lay on my bed, staring at the clock. I knew I had to apologize to John, but I had to do it so that we wouldn't start another arguement. I don't like to fight with him, but he sets me off like a gyser sometimes. I guess it's because he's fire and I'm water.  I giggled a little.  I sighed and decided it was time to get up and find my hot-headed brother so I could prepare him for dinner. I opened my door and John was standing right there, his hand poised to knock.

"Um, hi." He said lamely.

"Hi. I'm sorry. I was being stubborn." I said as I hugged him.

"Runs in the family apparently." John said, chuckling.

"But, I have a favor. Can you not blow Bobby up when he eats with us tonight? Please?" I asked.

"Fine. But only because you asked." He said.

"Thanks, big bro."

"You're welcome lil sis."
