**Bobby's POV**

I wish she would wake up.

She was so upset after Destiny died, she cried so much. I remember her making this dome of water around her and Destiny. After about 3 hours, the dome fell and so did Joelie. She just, passed out. It scared me.

I want her to wake up and yell at me for catching her. I want her to wake up and smile at me.

She rolled over in her sleep and whispered something so quietly that I almost couldn't hear. "I love you."

I sat there, just waiting for her to say Destiny's name or even her Mom's. But what I heard was, "Did you hear me Icee? I said 'I love you.'"

I was shocked. I kept looking at her. Her eyes were still closed, but she was smiling. It was as if she would wake up any minute. I smiled down at her, and whispered back, "I love you too Jojo."

"I know. I've known since you looked at me the first day. It was like you knew who I was, just by first glance." She said.

"It was a connection. Ice and Water. We were just, always connected. " I replied.

"Can you do me  a favor? Can you go tell Jean that I'm okay?" She suddenly asked.

"Sure." I said.

I walked out in a daze. It was like my eyes were glazed over, I could see, but I had a job to do. I found Jean after a little walk and told her that Joelie was okay.

"Really? That's great! I'll come see her later. Thanks Bobby." She said.

"You're welcome." I said mechanically.

She looked at me skeptically, but didn't say anything as I walked away.

I got back to the tent and the glaze cleared from my eyes. I then shuddered as I realized what happened. Joelie had been controlling me.

**Joelie's POV**

When I woke up, there was no one around. The only thing I saw was the field I was in when Destiny died.

A storm was approaching fast, the dark clouds were rolling in. I couldn't see anyone. It was just me.  When the clouds came in, it started to pour. I tried to take cover under some trees, but the trees soon disappeared. A building appeared. It looked like Alcatraz. I was standing between Bobby and John, trying to solve their skirmish as always. Jean was floating above all of us and raising water. I took some of it and pushed John and Bobby away from each other, away from me. I pushed them onto higher ground.

"Joelie! Come on!" John called.

"Jo, please!" Bobby yelled.

I shook my head sadly at them as I tried to keep the water down. Jean was too strong. Her Phoenix was overpowering me.

"Jean!" I yelled. "You can stop this!"

I looked and saw Logan going to her. They both looked upset. The next thing I knew, the water fell and took me with it. Then it all went black.

I shot up in my sleeping bag. Bobby was next to me, but he didn't look happy that I was awake.

"What's wrong Icee?" I asked.

"Don't 'Icee' me Joelie. You controlled me! How am I supposed to trust you if you can't even ask me to do a simple thing? You just make me do it anyway!" He said icily.  (Bad pun, sorry XD)

"What?!? What do you mean? I didn't do anything! I was having a dream where I died okay? If I did something weird, I'm sorry! You try watching yourself die!" I exclaimed.

Bobby and I had a silent stare-off, trying to see what the other was thinking, but we couldn't because we weren't telepaths.

"Fine. I'm sorry okay? I didn't mean to and I didn't know what I was doing. I was asleep." I said to him, submitting because I didn't want to fight.

"No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have sprung that on you as you woke up. I- I'm just scared, that's all. You're getting to be so powerful." He trailed off.

Jean walked in as a happy interruption. "Hey Joelie, are you feeling well enough to walk? John wants to see you but he refuses to come in the tent."

I giggled. "Sure. Let me try." I stood up. I was a little wobbly, but it wasn't too bad. Considering what I had just gone through.

Bobby led me outside the tent. John was standing just a little bit away. When he saw me, he rushed up and gave me a huge hug. "You alright?"

"Yeah. I'm great. Ready to take on Stryker if you asked." I joked.

"Seriously, are you okay?" John looked at me. This was the only time he'd actually shown that he cared for me.

"You know what? No, I'm not. I've got a brother who's probably going to join the Brotherhood, a boyfriend who no longer trusts me, and apparently, a lot of work and healing to do before I can do anything again." I said.

"Look, I never said I was going to join-"

"John! You're like an open book! You didn't even catch me when I fell! You know who did? Bobby! He caught me! It should've been you! You're my brother, you should look out for me when I'm upset or doing something wrong! And I don't trust that Arya girl that you've been hanging out with!"

"There's nothing wrong with Arya. She's a really nice girl." John said.

"Yeah, a nice girl who probably had to stand under a streetlight before Magneto found her." I spat.

"You know what? We all had it bad before we were found. It's just the way it is!" He yelled.

"Well I wasn't found. I was kidnapped. And you know what? Maybe I should've just gone back to Greece when I had the chance! Go ahead, leave. See if I care!" I yelled back.

"Maybe I will!" He threatened.

"Fine!" I said.

"Fine!" He replied.

We both stormed away from each other. I went and sat next to Kurt, who had a smile teasing his lips. "It's quite the game of never, always you two play."

"You could say that again." I said.

He simply laughed and patted my shoulder. "Don't worry. The game is fixed so that always will win, every time."

"So, Always always wins?" I asked.

"Yes Joelie. Always always wins."
