**Joelie's POV**
*****By the way, I made a decision and decided to do a time skip. I got too many ideas forward and didn't want to write filler chapters. Sorry for all of you looking forward to the plot of The Last Stand, I'm going to the end battle scene*****I ran over to where Jean was floating, that's right, floating. She hovered above the ground, her eyes almost fully black. She raised up the parts of the city and water came pouring in.
Bobby and John were fighting each other, their powers colliding.
I yelled for them to stop and ran in between them.
And it started raining fire.
Bobby and John stare at me.
"No more of this. I won't have you two fighting when there's more that needs to be done." I said, looking at both of them.
My eye caught on something, someone, struggling to get up.
"Go and be heroes." I said as I blasted them both forward with water.
I knew what I needed to do.
I took a deep breath and focused on keeping the water contained.
I wasn't going to let anyone drown. I wasn't going to lose someone I loved. Not again.
Logan had made his way up to Jean, and he killed her. I watched her mouth her last words though, they were "Free me."
The water stopped, and I lost control. It was too much water. I couldn't control it.
Bobby was trying to come and save me. John held him back. I shook my head at Bobby and smiled at both of the wonderful men in my life.
Then I let the water consume me.
