I took the tears that were streaming down my face an shot them at Avalanche. It barely wet his black suit but he yelped in pain because I shot them at him so hard.
"Ok, the girl has proven herself." Said Destiny. Destiny looked kind of like the stereotypical alien, I wonder what her power is...
"You're right as always Destiny. She has. Now we just need to show her to Magneto and he'll make her into a killing machine."
"B-b-b-but I don't want hurt anyone!! Let alone kill somebody!! All of this is hitting me on one day!! It's to fast!" I shouted at all of them.
"Child, you will be fine. I can see it" Destiny said.
Ahh so that's her power. Destiny can see the future. That makes sense. Avalanche's name probably speaks for itself.
"Come Aqua." Mystique said.
I politely followed her. Just cause that seemed the 'safest' thing to do. When I say safest, I mean the way that won't kill me. She led me down a big hallway with metal doors. The door slid open, and we both stepped inside.
An older man in a red tight superhero like suit was sitting at a large table. He had 3 places set out as if he was expecting our arrival.
"Magneto, this is the one. She has a lot of power for one so young." Mystique said to the man.
"Come here little girl." He said in almost a laugh.
I went over to him without saying a single word. More tears streamed down my face cause I knew he would want me to show him my powers too.
"What can you do? What do you control?" Magneto said, clearly enjoying the fact that I was scared.
"Water, sir." I said, my manners kicking in.
"Show me."
I took all the tears that I had shed and formed them into a little vase-like shape. The air in here was so cold, that after I held it for a while, it froze. I caught it before it hit the ground and Magneto reached out his hand, wanting to touch it.
"Please be careful, it's the first thing I've made like that, and I'd like to keep it." I said to hi in a sweet and innocent voice.
He observed it very carefully. Then he handed it back to me saying "Brilliant, just brilliant. Mystique, where did you find her? Is she the reason you've been gone so long?"
"Yes, I found her in Greece and befriended her as someone else. Then, when I was sure that her powers kicked in, I dared her to do something so simple, yet, so uniquely complex. She did, obviously, and well, here she is." Mystique said.
Magneto laughed and told one of his servants to get my measurements so that they could make me a coustume. "Not just a coustume, Aqua. Your suit that you will train in and kill in."
I brushed it off, actually getting used to the place. Maybe life here won't be so bad. I thought to myself.

Today is my 18th birthday. Not like we're celebrating it but, I like to keep track of my age.
I still don't get along well with Avalanche, Destiny seems to like me enough though. She's told me some things about the future that I couldn't believe.
I was helping her around her room one day when she said, "Aqua, do you like it here?"
"Well, ummm, I like you as a person, Avalanche, I could live without. Mystique, amazes me. Magneto, I respect him. I don't like the choices that we all seem to be making though."
"Why's that?" She asked, a thoughtful look on her face.
"I mean, I'm just not into evil. I was, and still secretly am, a good-hearted soul who believes that, well, there is a right and a wrong." I said back, "What's this all about anyways?"
She sighed. "Come here child. I'm going to tell you something."
I walked across the room, grabbed her hand and kneeled at her feet. "Yes, Destiny? What is it?"
"Take the back East hallway, there's an emergency exit, but the alarm doesn't work anymore. We are currently over an ocean. Play your cards right, and you can get out of here." She said.
"T-Thank you so much Destiny!" I whisper-yelled so no one would hear me.
"Consider it a birthday gift. Now hurry, go. While there's no one in the halls." She said back.
I ran lightly down the South corridor and turned right into the East hallway. As I got farther away from everyone, I realized that the only person I would really miss is Destiny. I left her a simple sign by her seat letting her know that I cared and that I made it. I ran fast down the last few feet of the hallway, lauched myself out the door and put myself in a diving postion towards the water.
