Dinner was a disaster. And I don't say that lightly.  Bobby and John almost blew the mansion up. Literally.

I don't even want to try to explain what happened, because I don't even know. All I know is that, one moment I'm sitting, having a very nice conversation with Bobby and John. Next thing I know, I'm standing in between them while they're trying to kill each  other.

Story of my life.

After that little catastrophe, I stormed off to my room for the second time. John knows just how to push all my buttons. I fell face first onto my bed and shrieked into my pillow. I didn't want to deal with them fighting over me anymore. I'm sister to one and girlfriend to another. I care about both of them immensely.

I hear knocks and sorrys muffled by my door. But I just turn on my radio, put in my Lady Antebellum CD and blast "Done" so they'll leave me alone for a while.

I end up falling asleep the third time the song plays through.

I wake up to Bobby alarmingly pounding on my door. "Joelie!! Wake up!! Please tell me they didn't take you too!!"

"Come in." I said sleepily, not exactly hearing what he said.

He burst in and hugged me protectively. "I'm so glad you're still here."

"Hm? Why would I not be here? I just fell asleep with my radio on." I said. I then realized that my radio had been turned off. "Did you turn off my radio?"

"No, I haven't been in here. I was downstairs eating ice cream." He said.

"Of course you were Icee. It's probably the only thing you wouldn't re-freeze." I said playfully.

"Ouch. That hurt." He said, fake pouting.

"So, who was taken and why?"

"Some of the mutants have been taken. I have no idea why. I came back upstairs and they were gone. Poof!" He said, paniking.

"Whoa, first calm down Icee. You're starting to make me cold. Second, we'll find them. Let's go talk to Professor X." I said.

"We don't have time for that. We have to leave. C'mon." Bobby said as he dragged me out the door. He led me to a room where 6 other mutants were standing, all in their pajamas. There was Rogue, John, a  woman with hair as white as snow, and a woman  with short red hair.

"Okay Bobby, you got her. Can we leave now?" John asked.

"You were gonna just leave your sister here? So much for family." I mumbled.

"Shouldn't we change first?" Rogue asked, standing in her nightgown.

"A-are you kidding me? Or are you actually serious? We don't know how much time we have." I said to Rogue, who glared at me in return.

"She's right. We don't. And Bobby, you would fail an etiquette class. This girl doesn't even know who we are." The red-head said.

"True. Whirlwind introduction. Joelie, that's Jean Gray, and Storm." Bobby said as he gestured towards the people when their names were said.

"Um, hi. I'm Joelie." I said lamely.

"Great, now let's go." John said.

"Yes. Everyone into the tunnels!" Bobby said.

We all ran to a secret tunnel most of us falling over each other. We had to escape before we were caught too. I could here shrieks behind me and started running faster, but stopped when I realized that I had forgotten my vase. I had to go back for it! I started heading back, fighting Bobby as he grabbed my arm. "We have to leave!" He yelled over the commotion.

"I need my jar!" I yelled back. I broke out of his grip and ran against the group. I knew exactly where it was. On my nightstand, where I always leave it. I ran back to my room, after I got through the crowded tunnel.  I quickly opened the door and lunged for my little jar. It was still full of water thank God. I heard something behind me and turned around, expecting Bobby. Instead, it was a man with a dart gun. Great. I opened my jar and shot little daggers of water at him. He yelled in pain, but still kept the gun pointed at me. I brought the water to me and made a thin sword with it. I then jumped at the man, my sword aimed for his stomach. I didn't concetrate enough on making the water more solid. The man smiled and shot a dart at me. I didn't feel it when it hit my arm. I unleashed a power I never thought I had, I froze the inside of the man. I didn't stick around to find out if it was temporary. I ran back and ran into Bobby on the way.

"Thank goodness you're safe!" He exclaimed.

"I can take care of myself you know." I said.

"I know." Is all he said as he drew me in for a quick hug. "Now let's go!"

He dragged me down the halls. I was much slower than I had been before. Drowsiness started to overtake my mind. "Bobby."

"Yeah?" He asked worried.

"For one thing, this is just in case, I have a seriously huge crush on you. Two, there's a tranquilizer in my arm and I'm about to-" I never got to finish the sentence.

Because I blacked out.
