Denki's face contorted into shock. "Mom? Dad?" The two adults barely paid Sero any mind as they rushed to Denki's side.

"Oh thank god...we thought the worst had happened. We rushed here as soon as we could. They said visiting hours were over and..." Denki's moms frantic rambling was stopped her husband.

"It's ok. He's ok." he reassured her. Denki stayed silent, watching helplessly from his bed.

"Mom, dad....why are you here?"

"What?"

"I asked why your here." Denki's voice turned icy cold. Sero would have laughed at the shocked looked on Denki's moms face if it wasn't for the tense atmosphere. Kirishima poked his head in, waving Sero over. Sero shook his head, mouthing a 'go away' to Kirishima.

"We were worried sick! Of course we'd come and see if you were safe. Especially when you ran off with...that...that boy!"

"So you haven't changed your minds? Well guess what?! I'm not going anywhere! I'm sick and i feel awful and i just wanna go home with Sero and plan my wedding before i actually die or cough up a lung, which  know isn't logical but i could care less!" Denki yelled, pointing a finger at his parents accusingly. "You don't care that i'm going to die. You only care about your image!"

"Denki..." Sero rubbed the blonds back, trying to calm him down. The heart monitor had risen a bit as the blond flailed his arms and yelled. Denki's teary eyes turned to Sero and he started crying.

"I'm going to die and it seems like nobody cares."

Sero almost responded with a 'I do care' but the blond didn't need reassurance. He needed to let his anger out and Sero wasn't going to be at the one his anger was directed at. "We do care Denki. We're your parents." His father spoke firmly, as if he was demanding Denki to believe him.

Sero wanted to punch him. His hands clenched into fists as he felt his emotions bubble. Denki was miserable with his parents. He hated them.

"No you don't. I'm 18 now and i can make my own choices. Leave me alone and go back to your lives. Disown me, hate me, tell people i suck, i don't care. I'm going to live out my life here and you can't stop me."

"Your delusional. How can he ever take care of you? He's job-less and he has no clue what to do to make life easier for you."

"One, Sero has a job. Two, i have my own personal doctor who helps me. He saved my life by catching on fast enough for me to be saved. And Three, i have so many people looking after me and helping me live life to the fullest."

Sero was sure Bakugou would love to be called a doctor. And the others would totally take care of Denki, no doubt. So why did Denki's parents want him back so bad?

"Your a monster for taking my son away from me!" Denki's mom spat at Sero.

Sero raised his hands in surrender. "I'm only doing this for Denki cause he asked. You call me what you want, i'm sure ive been called worse." Denki snorted at those words.

"If Denki won't come back willingly, we'll just have to call the police." Denki's mom sneered before she turned to leave only for Denki to grab her hand.

"Mom....please. Stop it...." he begged. She faultered for a minuet before she cupped Denki's cheeks.

"I'm sorry Denki. I love you alot and i just want you home." she sighed softly before leaving.

"Sero, you should leave. Before the cops get here and things get messy. She doesn't know where we live so just leave. I'll call you when i can get discharged."

"You sure?" It was something about the blonds tone that made Sero listen. He wanted to stay so bad and tell the cops exactly what he thought of Denki's parents but he knew the blond was right. "Fine. But i want you to call me."

"You sure you don't want me to stay? Cause i'll stay if you want." Denki just shook his head.

"I don't want any trouble. Promise me? I swear i'll call you when they leave."

"Deal. Love you." Sero kissed his boyfriends cheek and reluctantly left the hospital. He and Kirishima made their way through the almost empty parking lot silently.

"Hey, maybe we should pick up some stuff for dinner. Wanna come with? We can guilt Bakugou into cooking if your not up for it." Kirishima said in his usual caring and soft tone. For somebody built with muscle, he was such a softie.

"I'm alright cooking. I'm not distraught. Just mad. And sad."

"Any more descriptive words? Like, upset or weary?" Kirishima asked, pulling out the hospital driveway. Denki's room faced the parking lot, and no doubt he watched them pull away. The thought made Sero feel guiltily sick.

"Lets just have Bakugou cook." he decided, curling up in the seat which was difficult with his height. Kirishima nodded and patted his knee. Kirishima turned on the radio to some oldies rock station that he began to hum along too. Kirishima always seemed at ease. Even at his lowest points, he seemed calm and even up beat. He had that 'I have no rock bottom' type of attitude, which got him out of some tough times. It was that attitude Sero needed.

Kirishima let out a curse at a driver who cut him off as he tried to turn onto a side street, heading home.

"Fucking extra ass loser!"

Maybe he was spending too much time around Bakugou, who was notorious for almost killing his passengers when in rode rage mode. "Sorry." Kirishima said to Sero. "I usually keep my cool better then that. Wasn't even that bad."

"Ah so even the calm Kirishima gets stressed." Sero joked with a light punch to the shoulder. Kirishima grinned.

"Naw. Did you forget who my friends are? I can't be calm. If i am, one of you guys starts something. I'm like the level headed friend."

"Yeah. Thanks for this Kiri. Your a big help."

"Of course. I'd do anything for Bakusquad. How about we get some non-alchololic beer, soda and ice cream and make some ice cream floats for desert?"

"Sounds amazing."
