Early the next morning, everybody was awoken by the sound of a car alarm going off and Bakugou angrily stomping down the stairs.

"What's going on?"

"It's always crazy in the morning."

"Kirishima! Where the fuck is my wallet?! I'm gonna be late!"

"On the dresser where you left it!" The crazy shouting was all new to Denki who had never been able to yell so early for fear of being punished.

They were all so comfortable with each other, it was astounding. "We should get up. Blasty gets mad when he doesn't get his goodbyes." Sero teases, sitting up in the bed. The room they had gotten was nice. A very simple king size bed with a grey comforter and sheet set. The pillows were fluffy. The dresser held a large mirror which Denki could see Sero's bare back, his back muscles moving as he stretched and yawned.

"It's only 7:30."

"That's not gonna stop Blasty. If you wanna sleep in, go for it."

"I just feel tired. Maybe some breakfast will help." The two get dressed quickly, walking downstairs to find Bakugou rushing to and fro, gathering his books and papers. His laptop was sitting open on the dining room table where Kirishima sat, drinking some purple liquid from a water bottle. Fruit slices lay next to him on a plain white plate.

"Your not running late so chill."

"I'm meeting the professor early and i don't feel like another lecture on how rude it is to be fucking late."

Kirishima shrugs, going back to his own laptop where a video screen was pulled up.

"He's crazy Tetsutetsu, i swear." Denki peaks from behind Kirishima's shoulders, eyeing the white haired male who was on the screen. He had his eyes closed as he laughed at Kirishima's teasing.

"Who's that behind you, Eijiro?"

"Ah, one of my room mates, Denki."

"Hey! I'm Tetsutetsu, one of Kirishima's friends."

"I'm Denki. Nice to meet you." Denki leans on the back Of Kirishima's chair, watching the silver haired male move around what must be his apartment. Him and Kirishima talked about a lot of things that Denki didn't find interesting but it was nice to joke around with the two.

"Here Denki." Sero hands the blond a plate of freshly made pancakes, much to the blonds delight.

"All you have is protein powder dude. You need to go shopping." Mina whines, walking out of the kitchen, clutching the entire carton of fucking strawberries.

"Put those back you fucking heathen." Kirishima hisses. Mina growls back, sitting in the chair farthest from Kirishima.

"Freeloader. I still don't know why you don't move your stuff here. You practically live here."

"Planning on it once my lease is up."

"You said that last time."

"Bite me."

"I'll make you pay rent."

"Fight me." the two go back and forth until Kirishima is called away by Tetsutetsu's voice and Mina by her phone ringing. Denki watches the two excitedly chattering with their friends, a weird feeling stirring up in his stomach.

Was he jealous?

Nah, couldn't be. He had friends and family. Family that hated him and have yet to call him again.

"Hey Sero, should i call my mom and tell her i'm ok?"

"No. Why are you even asking?"

"I just...i'm her only child. She must be so worried." Mina places a hand on his shoulder, shaking her head.

"Never feel obligated. They shouldn't have hurt you enough to run away. We got your back." Mina had finished her phone call it seems. Luck she did because Denki now knew what he was feeling.

Guilt.

He felt so guilty. Guilty for making his mom worry, guilty for making his dad have to hurt him and guilty for dragging Sero into this mess. But worst of all, he felt guilty for himself. He shouldn't feel this way.

Victims of abuse always go back cause they felt they could fix or change things. That's when Denki realized. He needed to stay. If not for himself, then for Sero. He did look so much happier surrounded by his old friends.

"You ok dude?" Sero says, putting down his fork.

"Yeah. Perfectly fine."

                            ........................................................................................................

When Kirishima was done eating and talking to Tetsutetsu, he had told everyone to get ready to leave. It was actually nice to be able to go out with friends for the day. Denki was quick to dress in his favorite black jeans and Sero's over sized hoodie. His favorite black choker and bracelet completed his look.

If his parents could see him they'd freak. He loved it.

"You look like first rate emo trash." Sero chuckles, pulling on his grey tee shirt. Denki sticks his tongue out before bounding out the room and down the stairs. Mina and Kirishima were already ready, waiting on the couch.

"So where we going?"

"Food shopping then hot topic. I'm paying for everything." Kirishima winks, turning back to Mina. Denki sits next to the pink haired girl, waiting for Sero to come down. He took forever getting dressed and ready.

Once the black haired teen was done, Kirishima playfully shoves everyone out the door. He locks up and they pile into Kirishima's car. Denki had never noticed how well off Kirishima and Bakugou seemed.

"This car is awesome. When'd you get it?"

"Last week. My parents got it as a late birthday gift."

"Are you rich or something?" Denki asks, gazing at the car's sleek interior.

Kirishima sputters, his cheeks turning red.

"No!"

"His parents are super loaded. And since Kirishima is their only kid, they spoil him with a weekly allowance that's higher then my rent." Mina hums, curling up in the passenger seat.

"Your making me out to be some spoiled rich boy Mina." Kirishima whines, pulling into the parking lot of the local grocery store.

"Let's just finish up here quick and get home so we can go shopping." Sero chuckles, opening up his car door.

                                 ..........................................................................

By the time they got into the store, everyone had went different ways. Sero went down the snack section and Mina went down the booze section. Kirishima went to get the meats, leaving Denki wandering.

Since he was kinda bored, he decided to pick out some snacks he'd like. After grabbing a few yogurts and some chips, Denki makes his way to find Sero. He was still in the same isle, his phone up to his ear. His brows were furrowed and his expression was dark.

"No, i don't care. I'm not going to let him ruin my life! He's corrupting my mind!" Sero hangs up, pushing the hair out of his face. He looked pissed.

Denki could feel his heart breaking. Was Sero talking about him? Was he ruining Sero's life?

"Hey Sero. Do you know where Kirishima is? I found some snacks i want." Denki says, his expression guarded. He didn't know if Sero would lash out.

"Down there in the next isle." He says quickly, walking away from the blond. Denki's heart sinks to his stomach.

He was right. He was ruining Sero's life.
