Denki fell asleep as soon as the 24 hours were up. Sero was still nervous about a potential coma but the blond was sleeping peacefully so he didn't dare wake him.

Instead he grabbed his phone and walked outside to his backyard. It was small, with dying grass and a tiny garden flourishing in the far corner. The back patio had a few lounge chairs faded by the sun with a ugly green stripped pattern, stained by multiple rainy days and intense sunlight.

Denki had joked about the chairs being filled with bugs because of the holes on the sides but they never fond one.

Sero only took a moment to remember the number before quickly dialing. Kirishima was always up early. He could almost hear Bakugou complaining when Kiri's phone went off.

The thought brought a smile to his face.

"Hello?"

"Hey, it's me."

"Sero! Wow, it's been a while."

"I called you last week dude."

"I know. So long ago. But whats up?" The sound of clanging and voices was easy to make out. Sero felt a smile grace his face.

"Are you at the gym?"

"Yeah. I kinda gained a few pounds."

"Your skinny like a twing with muscles Kirishima. I'm sure a few pounds won't kill you."

"That's what Bakugou said. But anyways...Why are you up so early?"

Sero suddenly felt nervous. He never usually asked for favors and this was kind of a big one.

"I have a favor to ask."

"Sure. What's up?" Kiri didn't sound the least bit worried about what he'd say. He always was the trusting type.

"Me and my...friend...have a problem. Mind if we stay at your place for a while?" Sero didn;t know what to call Denki. Kirishima and Bakugou have been together for years so its not like they were homophobic but it felt so...different.

"Sure! Let me text Bakugou. Mina's been slowly moving in too, so it won't be that bad having two more people. But how ya getting out here?"

"Leave that up to me. I'll text you later. And thanks dude. I appreciate it."

"Always bro. Later."

The beep that signaled the end of a call sounded, leaving Sero alone. His phone was almost dead so it was good timing. Sero made his way inside the house, entering his bedroom. How long should he pack for? Before he could decide, a knock sounded at the door.

"Morning!" Izuku chimes, giving a bright smile. He looked too happy for so early in the morning.

"Morning? Oh right; the keys." Sero fishes in his pocket for the keys to the green haired collage students car.

"So where you headed so early?"

"To my friend Todoroki's. He lives in Maine so it's a few hours away."

"Main? Do you think me and Denki can hitch a ride?"

"Umm, do his parents know?"

"No. Izuku, they hit him. He was covered in blood when i found him."

Sure, Sero was selling it up, but Izuku's rapidly paling face told him everything he needed to know.

"Yes. Be packed within the hour. I hope he's ok."

"He's fine. I promise i'll take care of him."

Izuku nods firmly, taking his keys with him across the street. Sero did a quick happy dance before making his way to where the blond was fast asleep.

"Denki...Get up."

"Eh? What's going on?" the blond mumbles sleepily, rubbing his eyes. His hair was messed up on the side, his cheek red from the pillow. He had dried drool on his chin. Sero snorts, shaking his head.

"We have to leave. You want to stay with me? We do it on my terms, ok?"

"You mean it?" Denki's eyes widen, a smiling spreading across his face. "But where are we going?"

"To stay with some friends of mine. They're cool." Denki raises his eyebrows, a smirk on his face.

"And here i though i was your only friend."

"Dude, that's harsh."

Denki and Sero laugh, all the tension of the night before gone.

"So, where do they live?"

"In Maine. Izuku is taking us." Denki's smile wavers.

"What if he tells my parents?"

"He won't. I told him everything. He's ready to go whenever you are."

Denki nods, standing up to stretch. Sero puts Denki's bags into the trunk alongside Izuku's. The green haired male must have unlocked the trunk for them.

After packing his bags, Sero places his bags in besides the others, taking a deep breath. He didn't have a lot of stuff, but it felt odd leaving his apartment.

"Sero. Let's go." Izuku calls, running across the street. Denki was already sitting in the back, spread across the back seat.

"We're picking up some food on the way." Izuku informs, his nervous smile fading into a look of concern.

"Denki, how are you feeling?"

"I'm fine, Izuku. My head feels a lot better." Izuku smiles, sitting in the drivers, seat. Denki's phone rings startling the three.

"Hello?" Denki's face falls, his eyes turning harsh.

"No, i'm not ok and no i'm not coming home. I'm going where you'll never find me and if you try i'll tell everyone what dad did." Denki pauses for a moment before wiping his eyes.

"Sorry mom. I won't be home for a while." He hangs up, smiling at Sero. "You won't have to worry about my parents for a while. I turn 18 soon anyways."

Sero and Izuku give each other looks of concern before turning back around.

Was Denki really ok with leaving?

"I'm fine guys. Honest. But i am hungry. Can we stop and get some food?"

"Sure!" Izuku chirps, pulling into a store parking lot. "What do you guys feel like?"

"Hmmm, i don't know. Pick for me!" Denki smiles. Once Izuku leaves the car, Sero turns to face him.

"Hey, you sure you ok? Your parents are going to miss you."

"They hurt me and they hurt you. I know their words stung Sero. I want this so don't worry."

"I have to call my boss and take some vacation time until i find a job near Bakugou's. My landlord will know i'm gone by next month so i'll lose my apartment. I hope we find a house nearby though." Sero muses, winking at the blushing blond.

"A place of our own sounds great. When i turn 18, i want you all to myself." Sero's cheeks heat up at the blonds words. He was falling in love and they both could tell. But what was going to happen in three years when Sero is left alone?

Luckily Izuku opens the car door, stopping those dark thoughts from entering the pairs minds.

"I hope you two like pizza and chips. I didn't know what to get."

"That's fine Izuku. Thank's for all this." Izuku smiles kindly, shaking his head.

"I'm always there for friends of mine."
