Denki rejoined his friends, Mina already checking out more books in the fantasy section by the bathroom door. She had expressed her love for the genera before.

Did she hear?

She must not have, as she seemed focused on the books on the shelves in front of her. She seemed to be deciding between two books that caught her attention. Denki wiped his mouth once more to be extra sure the blood was gone. His throat hurt a bit but he was used to it. Sero was bagging up a bag of books for the old lady, who paid and left quickly. After closing the register, he winked and smiled at Denki who smiled back in return. Bakugou was now reading his book, sitting in an arm chair. Kirishima leaned by the counter, a comic open, leaving the room silent until Denki walked in. Kirishima put down his comic, giving Denki his attention.

"Hey dude. Think Bakugou would let me get this?"

"I dunno.

"Denki, we should go get smoothies for everybody!" Mina said, her bubbly smile rubbing off on Denki who nodded.

"That sounds like a plan." he agreed.

Mina's expression turned concerned suddenly. "Your voice sounds hoarse. You ok?" Bakugou looked up from his book, his eyes narrowing. Kirishima was paying attention as well. Sero was listening in as he put the cash the lady gave him in the register.

"Yeah, i'm fine. Just thirsty. Let's get those smoothies. We'll be right back." The pair made their way towards the corner ice cream shop. It was a quaint little shop with large blue and white stripped awnings and bubble gum pink outside tables and chairs. The worker was a tall, tired looking guy with dyed purple hair and dark circles. He yawned when the bell jingled.

"How can i help you guys?" he asked with a slight snarky tone. Mina ordered the smoothies as Denki stood by and stared. This guy was handsome. He had snake bites circling his plump bottom lip and a eyebrow piercing that was a bright violet. He wore a apron that had the companies logo and a band teeshirt and ripped jeans. The black eyeliner he wore made his skin seem even more pale.

"And you?" the guy asked, raising his eyebrow with a smirk. He'd been caught staring...Shit.

"Just a chocolate milkshake." Denki didn't even like chocolate! This guy was cocky as he beckoned Denki over to the clear counter where the messy tubs of ice cream were kept.

"We have tons of different chocolate ice creams. A little more specific next time blondy." Mina huffed behind Denki who chuckled.

"Pineapple then." Denki said with a nervous grin. Was he being a bad boyfriend for finding another guy attractive?

"Better." The guy made the milkshakes, sighing as a dark haired, much older man exited from the back. "Uggh, dad, i got this."

"Shinsou, you've been working since 7 am. Take a lunch break."

Shinsou finished the milkshakes, handing them to Mina who went to pay at the counter where the older man was. Denki swallowed thickly. The purpled haired server walked closer, handing Denki a piece of paper. His number.

"If your ever free, i get off at six." The guy walked out with a slight shoulder bump. Denki stumbled a bit before chasing after him.

"Shinsou, wait up!"

The guy stopped, allowing Denki to catch his breath. "Heart condition." he explained before squaring his shoulders. "I already have a boyfriend."

"Ok. Friends then. I think your friends waiting for you." Mina was indeed watching from afar with a puzzled frown.

"Right. See ya." Denki walked back to Mina, smiling. "He gave me his number but i told him off."

"Damn. I though i was gonna have to say something. Your honesty is appreciated." Mina teased. Denki rolled his eyes, snickering.

"As if i'd cheat. I'm gonna die soon."

"Don't be morbid Denks." Mina pouted. Denki laughed at Mina's saddened expression. But his hollow laugh was stopped by MIna starting up Music on her phone held between them, resting between two drinks on the drink carrier.

With that tension gone, they walked back to the book shop where the others were waiting.

This walk made Denki's chest hurt. It wasn't heart burn or like a stabbing pain. It was a dull thrib that made him take a few deep breaths and slow his walk. He ignored Mina's attempts to speak, trying to ease the ache by rubbing his chest. "Just slow down ok. My lungs are weak." Denki managed to mutter, following Mina to the shop. She pushed him into a seat, handing out the drinks with a pinched brow. Bakugou eyed him up and down but Mina just waved him off.

"I made him walk a bit fast so the milk shakes wouldn't melt. He just needs to rest." Sero was by his side in an instant and Denki smiled. Sero was a million times more attractive then Shinsou. Sero rubbed Denki's cheek with his thumb.

"I'm fine. Just tired."

"You need to take it easy." he said softly before going back to behind the counter where Mina sat, charging her phone. Denki felt fine. The pain had stopped even, but now a icy coldness washed over his left arm, a numbness following as Denki stayed, almost frozen in place. His breath quickened as a cold sweat broke out on his body.

What was happening?

Nothing good judging by the look on Bakugou's face as his phone alerted him to something going on with Denki.

"Denki?" Bakugou's eyes widened as he snapped his fingers. "Mina, call 911!"

"What's going on?!" Sero asked, rushing to Denki's side.

"Tachycardia rate. It means his heart rate is over 100 beats per minuet. He's having a heart attack!" Bakugou said, his expression panicked. Sero felt his heart sink. He was just fine a minuet ago...What the hell happened?

Soon Denki was taken to the hospital and the rest of the squad gathered in the car, traveling in silence.

What was going to happen to Denki?

Sero's eyes widened in horror as his mind pointed one thing out he hadn't considered.

"Bakugou we need to hurry."

"I know but traffic is..."

"No, we NEED to hurry." Kirishima turned in his seat, looking concerned. "Kiri, they're gonna have to call his parents. He may be 18 now but...."

"Then his parents would know where he is...." Mina said. Bakugou let out a cuss.

They were in for one shit storm.
