Side story 2: Weapon upgrades

Will probably be a short one

Should I even bother with this chapter

this ones completely skippable in short Y/N and Crystal got better weapons 

Y/N POV
Crystal and I were in our dorm I was just lying on my bed Crystal looked like she was looking over some notes from class.

Y/N: "Hey Crystal you know what we need."

Crystal: "Oh, what do we need Y/N."

Y/N: "weapon upgrades!"

Crystal: "weapon upgrades?"

Y/N: "with the vial festival coming up we need to be as prepared as we can and let's face it our weaponry ain't the best, I have literally no close-range weapon and no offence but your weapons kind of bland too."

Crystal: "I see what you mean, so you want us to go visit a weaponsmith to get our weapons upgraded?"

Y/N: "no I can do it myself."

Crystal: "Huh, you know how to make weapons?"

Y/N: "make not really but altering them I can do easily enough."

Crystal: "ok but then where are we going?"

Y/N: "I own a place in vale I used as a lab and workshop before ozpin invited be to beacon

Crystal: "so we're going there."

Y/N: "yep."

Crystal and I got dress into our casual clothes handset off for my place

Time skip to outside Y/N's place

Crystals: "you know when you said workshop and lab I expected it to be something bigger, but this looks normal."

Y/N: "everything's downstairs in till then it's just a normal house."

I opened the door and we entered the house.

The first room we entered was a living room it had a couch and a couple of chairs.

Y/N: "Stay here I have to grab a few things."

Crystal: " alright ."

Crystal POV

As Y/N left the room I sat down on one of the chairs in the room waiting for him to come back I noticed that despite him supposedly not living here since he was accepted into beacon it was surprisingly clean. After a few minutes, Y/N came back into the room with some tools and what appeared to be a sort of combat knife

Crystal: "so what now?"

Y/N: "here give me your weapon, if you want you can stay up here cause I need to focus when working."

Crystal: "oh sure." I handed him my mace.

Y/N: "alright."

Y/N then went downstairs into his workshop.

Crystal: "what do I do now?"

Timeskip of Y/N upgrading their weapons.

Y/N POV

Y/N: "there we go, done."

I had finished with the upgrades to our weapons, I went back up stairs and handed Crystal back her mace.

Y/N: "here you go."

Crystal: "thank you, so what did you change?"

Y/N: "when you press on that button." I pointed at a new button on her mace "the dust inside the handle will activate infusing the weapon with its property, meaning when you hit stuff it will also have an extra effect.

Crystal: "oh cool."

Y/N: "well we've done what we came here to do here let's head back to Beacon."

Crystal: "yeah sure."
