The Farm

Blake POV

It wasn't long after Jinn told us about Crystal's past and Y/N had passed out, Crystal had almost passed out as well but she managed to stay conscious we all noticed that her one green eye had turned silver as the other one had. Ozpin had seemed to disappear after that as Oscar told us that it felt like Ozpin had "Locked himself away".  The snow started coming down harder as the lady on the train convinced us that we need to get moving unless we wanted to attract more Grimm, so Ruby picked up the relic and Qrow slung Y/N over his shoulder and we started walking down a path. We had been walking for about an hour by now.

Qrow: "Doesn't look like this is gonna let up."

Crystal: "We just need to get this stupid lamp to Atlas."

Weiss: "Let's hope we don't have to walk all the way there."

Yang: *Sarcastiicly* "I thought trails led somewhere."

Maria: "Do you have nothing better to do than to harass a defenceless old lady?"

I then heard something that sounded like metal squeaking like a gate coming from up ahead.

Blake: "Hold on guys. Do you hear that?"

Everyone stops in their tracks looking ahead further a large farm town can be seen, one of the front gates swings back and forth with the wind. A large sign above the entrance reads "Brunswic Farms". 

Ruby: "Well, at least something good happened today."

Weiss: "It looks abandoned."

Ruby: "It's still better than this."

Qrow: "Come on, I think we could all use some rest."

All of us entered the town heading to the nearest building to try and find shelter.

Ruby: "I don't get it. The empty towns I've passed through were all damaged or unfinished. But this place looks... fine."

Weiss: "Maybe everyone left in a hurry. Before things took a turn."

Crystal: "Who knows?"

Crystal then tries to open the door but it was locked.

Weiss: "Great so how do we get in?"

Crystal then grunts in annoyance and kicks the door open.

Crystal: "That's how."

Oscar: "Well that certainly works."

Qrow: "Yeah. Come on let's get out of this cold."

So we all went inside. We entered into what looked like a sort of lounge with two sofas and a fireplace.

Maria: "Close the door already! It's cold enough in here as it is."

After we were all inside Oscar and I pushed a set of draws over to keep the door shut cause Crystal broke the lock when she kicked it in.

Blake: "From the looks of it we may be able to get a fire going."

Weiss: "Please. I'll go look for some blankets."

Qrow moves over to one of the couches and puts Y/N down on it.

Qrow: "Yang, go with her."

Ruby lingered by the entrance as Yang and Weiss went upstairs I went over to Y/N and sat down in a spot next to him, meanwhile Oscar opened a door to another room.

Oscar: "Looks like a study, or a library."

Ruby noticed a group of photos on the wall near the door Crystal went over to her.
