Y/N POV

It was a few days after I arrived in Mystral with Weiss and Yang, Crystal and I decided to keep quiet about what we talked about despite Yang's multiple attempts to make us talk. I ended up staying in the same room as Crystal although I slept on the other bed in the room. But tonight sleep wasn't coming easy, I looked at the time on my scroll, (2:11 AM) Crystal, on the other hand, was sound asleep. I got up out of bed and left the room as quietly as I could so I didn't disturb her.

Y/N: "Screw it. Maybe a walk would help?"

I went through the hallways of the house headed for the front door, on my way I heard noises from another room in the house more specifically the kitchen.

Y/N: "Who's raiding the fridge at this hour?"

I had no reason to find out who it was but I decided to anyway, as I got closer I could hear Ruby's voice.

Ruby: "No, no, gah is there nothing to eat!?"

I arrived at the doorway to the kitchen and saw Ruby standing in front of the fridge whisper yelling to herself.

Y/N: "A small red gremlin is raiding our fridge."

Ruby: "AH! Y/N stooooop."

Y/N: "What?"

Ruby: "You somehow always manage to spook people when they're not expecting it."

Y/N: "Sorry."

Ruby: "Also I'm not that short."

Y/N: "I know, I'm just messing with ya."

Ruby: "Hmph."

She crossed her arms and pouted at me, I let out a small chuckle.

Y/N: "Well, anyway I'll see you tomorrow."

Ruby: "Are you going somewhere?"

Y/N: "I haven't slept at all tonight and for some reason going for a walk seems like it may help."

Ruby: "Oh, well stay safe I guess."

Y/N: "Yeah I will."

I left the room and headed toward the front door and left the house, I walked around the market for a short time, surprisingly there were still a few people around, though the only places open were bars and the occasional store for shall I say less legal items. For some reason, I couldn't shake the feeling that someone or something was following me, I ducked down a nearby alley hoping to either lose them or make them come out of hiding, I went further into the back alleys to the point there was no one around.

Y/N: "You can stop hiding now."

I heard laughter, then from a few metres away, I heard a familiar voice.

Sapphire: "I'm surprised you noticed."

I looked over to where the voice was coming from I could only make out an outline of the woman but from her voice alone I could tell she was definitely part of the group that assisted with the attack on Beacon.

Y/N: "You."

Saph: "Oh, so you do remember me. That makes me so happy."

I drew my knife and activated the night vision in my robotic left eye, allowing me to see her clearer. Her outfit was different compared to what she wore back at Beacon.
