Another step forward

Crystal POV

It was a few hours after we met with Lionheart, Qrow had gone out drinking while the rest of us were back at the house, Ruby was in her room whereas the rest of us were in the front sitting room, there was suddenly a knock at the front door after a few seconds Jaune went over and opened the door, on the other side there was a boy who looked to be no older than 14 or 15.

Jaune: "Can I... Help you?"

Boy: "Um... yeah. Is there a Ruby Rose here?"

Ren and Nora stood up tense and defensive.

Nora: "Why?"

Boy: "Well..."

Qrow appears stumbling into view.

Qrow: "I found him!"

Qrow stumbles into the house laughing drunkenly to himself.

Boy: "I think her uncle could use some help."

Qrow stumbles further into the room and collapsed onto one of the couches.

Qrow: "I found him."

Ruby's voice is heard from her room and progressively gets closer.

Ruby: "What is going on out there?!"

She arrived in the room.

Ruby: "Can't a girl read her comics in peace?"

She looked around the room and saw Qrow collapsed on the couch, and placed her hand on her forehead.

Ruby: "Qrow, did you get drunk again?"

Qrow: "Maybe."

The boy took a step inside and looked at Ruby.

Boy: "You have silver eyes."

She looked surprised and looked over at us Nora just shrugged in response.

Ruby: "Who are you?"

Qrow chuckled quietly from the couch.

Oscar Uh... Well, my name is Oscar Pine.

Qrow: "Wait for it."

Oscar: "But you probebley know me as Profeser Ozpin.

Crystal: "What?"

Everyone gasps in surprise and confusion Qrow starts chuckling and eventually shoots up.

Qrow: "I did it!"

He then falls off the couch onto the floor.

Blake POV

Dad, mum, Sun and I were all standing in the entrance hall of the house, dad was pacing back and forth reading from a piece of paper he had in hand he kept reading for a few moments taking off the gasses he was wearing an letting out a sigh.

Kali: "Are you ready?"

Ghira: "Yes. It won't be easy for the people to hear, but the truth often isn't. I know they'll do the right thing."

I went over and put my hand on his arm and gave him a comforting smile.

Sun: "Yeah You got this."

Dad let out one last sigh before opening the doors and we stepped outside, there were crouds of people out there, including Corsac and Fennic, dad stepped up to the podium and held his hand up and everyone quieted.

Ghira: "Thank you all for assembling here. I wanted to take time to address some of the rumours that have been circulating around our island. I believe that it is important for the people of this territory to understand the truth. No matter how you feel about the human race, I think we can all agree that the event now known as the Fall Of Beacon was a tragedy. A tragedy that will set both man and Faunus-kind back. While the main aggressor is still unknown, we do have official confirmation that Adam Taurus the leader of a powerful splinter group working inside the White Fang was partially responsible for these attacks. His actions not only tarnished the reputation of an organization originally created to bring peace and equality to all, but to our entire race. With each day that this man remains unpunished, it becomes increasingly difficult to condemn those that look down upon us."
