Sirius woke up that morning to the sound of Remus' steady heartbeat, his head on the werewolf's chest and the said werewolf's arms wrapped loosely around his waist. Sirius hummed contently and snuggled deeper into Remus' warmth.

The sun cast a warm glow over Remus' features. Sirius let his fingertips trail over his jaw then rest on his cheek, rubbing the skin there delicately.

Remus' eyes fluttered open, revealing his pretty amber hue with flecks of yellow because of the lycanthropy. The boy never liked his eyes- thinks they look too much like a werewolf's- but Sirius thought they were the prettiest thing ever.

Sirius smiled sheepishly after he was caught staring. Remus grinned, tightening his grip on Sirius' waist and pulling him closer. "Morning baby," he mumbled raspily. The silver-eyed boy continued to caress his cheek while admiring how hot his boyfriend and his voice is.

"Morning." They laid together for a few more minutes, legs tangled beneath the sheets and basking in the morning sunshine and unusual quietness.

It was a weekend anyway so that meant no lessons. On a weekend James would wake them up by throwing things or some other strange way but he let Remus and Sirius have their alone time. It's been forever since they got some quiet time together because Sirius was in detention every other day and Remus was exhausted from the looming moons and exams. But now that it was all over, at least for now, he gave it to them. They deserved it.

Peter heard the mention of food and left the dorm immediately so he wasn't a problem.

Remus ran his fingers through Sirius' hair sleepily; Sirius happily accepted the affection. "Alright, love?" The taller boy whispered gently. Sirius nodded the best he could, trying to shift impossibly closer. He placed a few sweet kisses on Remus' exposed collar bone. "Just missed you." Remus hummed knowingly, caressing the smaller boy's side.

Noises started to erupt from the common room and a few moments later, notifying the boys that the Gryffindors were heading to breakfast.

Sirius whined when Remus removed his arms, suddenly feel cold. He pulled the blankets tighter around him, watching Remus stand up, pouting.

Remus stretched, glancing over at his boyfriend with a fond chuckle. Sirius had to try and keep his eyes from wandering. After all, Remus was only in his boxers.

The werewolf smiled at the boy who sat against the headboard with the blanket draped around his shoulders. Remus flopped down on his stomach, wrapping his arms around Sirius' waist and tugging him closer to bury his face in his stomach. Sirius laughed when he blew a raspberry.

"Remmy! That tickles!" Sirius yelped, trying to push him away. Remus laughed, placing a few kisses on his smooth clear skin before standing up and patting his thigh. "Get up Pads or no cuddles."

Sirius got up at that.

"Where's Sirius?" James quizzed. The great hall was quiet since it was Easter holiday and most of the students went home. For once James decided to stay at Hogwarts for it. Remus suspected it was because Lily finally came around but the flustered boy denied it.

"He went to go check on Reg," Remus told him, sitting next to Lily who was sitting across from James. "I think they're on better terms after Regulus ran away last summer."

James nodded with a satisfied look. He opened his mouth to say something but got cut off.

"Hiya Prongise, Ms. Prongs, Moons." Sirius climbed into the seat next to James. He went to grab a piece of toast but paused, looking around. "The hell is Wormtail?"

James shrugged. "Dunno. He came down and grabbed a biscuit then ran off saying he was going to meet some other friends."

Odd, Remus thought but left it at that. Peter never left with only one piece of food. Such a scandal.

"Er- okay then. Well, what's happening today then? Placing chewed-up pieces of gum in the Slytherin's clean bedsheets? Turning the grounds blue? Convincing Hagrid to let us bring 27 trees into the school?"

Remus blinked at the boy while Lily looked slightly impressed and James had the look a small child would get on Christmas morning.

"I'm not even gonna question your imagination," Remus muttered and took a bite of his toast. Sirius gave his signature grin and kissed Remus' cheek quickly before going through the ideas with James.

Lily watched the boys fondly, wondering why it took her so long to realize how sweet they were despite surrounding all their pranks on the Slytherins. She was the one to help Remus and Sirius realize how head over heels they were for each other and she couldn't bring herself to say she hated James much either. After all, it was her who finally asked the other on a date.

"Do you know that I like- really really love you? I'm so in love with you."

Remus looked down at Sirius, who he thought was asleep, and blushed a little. The smaller of the two had his eyes closed, but a content smile graced his features while he had his and Remus' fingers threaded together and resting on his stomach.

Leaning down to kiss him sweetly, Remus said, "Yeah? Do you know that I'm really in love with you too?"

Sirius smiled widely. James, who sat on his own bed in the dormitory, threw a skittle (some kind of muggle candy Lily brought with her) at the pair. "Do you two know that you're like, really really gay?"

Lily then proceeded to throw her mini-wrapped kit-kats at him. "Shut up."

Sirius grinned cheekily at the redhead while caressing the back of Remus' hand idly. "You're my favorite Bambi."

"I know."

James tried to get a word in but his mouth was full of skittles, making Lily scold him for talking with his mouth full. Peter cackled from his bed, ultimately choking on a sweet. The plant he was supposed to be looking after for Professor Sprout squeak angrily at the loss of attention.

Ignoring the chaos, Sirius watched Remus fondly as the boy continued to read despite the ruckus surrounding and yelps from various beds (Lily was sitting at the end of Sirius' bed, which has been unused for ages since Sirius never slept there and hasn't for a little over three years). Trying to express how much he loves this werewolf would be impossible in words, but thankfully, he seemed to get the message across.
