"So, you just stumbled upon this room?" Natasha asked curiously, running her fingers along the stone columns. Neville nodded with a flushed face, and Natasha turned around, placing her hands on her hips.
"You're my favourite fifth year now, no offence Harry," she said, adding the second part as her godbrother gave her a pointed look. She used her wand to summon some fairy lights, marvelling at her work as the room instantly lit up.
"There, that's more like it," she said with a nod of her head. Everyone that was there started to leave to go tell the members of Dumbledore's Army about their new workspace, leaving only Fred, George, Natasha and Harry behind.
"You coming to set up that prank for Filch?" George asked, and Natasha looked over to Harry before shaking her head.
"I'll catch up with you guys in his office for detention tonight," she said firmly, and with one quick kiss to her cheek, Fred left, followed by George who was happy to have his brother to himself. Harry sat down on the cold stone floor, and Natasha joined him, not before conjuring cushions for them both.
"Why'd you stay behind?" Harry asked, and Natasha smiled, before sighing.
"As Head Girl, I've got many more responsibilities and things to do for my N.E.W.T.S. during the week, so I probably won't be able to come to every meeting you guys have. So, could you teach me how to conjure a Patronus?"
Harry smiled and stood up, helping Natasha up. "I would love to teach you Natasha, and I'm sure Sirius would be proud to know that we could both conjure one," he said, pulling his wand out from his cardigan.
Natasha mimicked his actions, and the two Gryffindor's stood side by side, facing the fireplace. "Now, think of your happiest memory. It could be past, present, or even something you just desperately love. All it has to be is happy," Harry explained, raising his wand.
"What's your memory then?" Natasha asked, as she racked her brains for something happy. She thought of Fred, her father and even Harry, but she knew she needed something stronger.
"Well, I actually think of my parents," Harry said quietly, and Natasha looked over to him sadly. She too missed her mother, and Lily, and James, all who she had known as a baby.
That was it.
"I've got it, now what do I say?" Natasha asked.
"Expecto Patronum, and if the memory is powerful enough, you should be able to conjure a corporal Patronus." With a nod, Natasha inhaled and closed her eyes before opening them, a twinkle now present.
"Expecto Patronum!" she cried, and from her wand, a blue wisp appeared, taking the form of a dragon. It soared around her and Harry, and as Harry conjured his own Patronus, the two creatures danced around each other.
"It's beautiful," Natasha remarked, and Harry beamed with pride at his god sister.
"Not only did you produce a corporal Patronus on your first try, but it's a magical beast, which is even more rare," he said with astonishment, trying to classify the dragon. Natasha beat him to it.
"It's a Norwegian Ridgeback, Charlie's favourite kind of dragon. He gifted me with a small dragon scale notebook a few years back, and it's been my favourite kind of dragon ever since," she said happily, sighing as her Patronus vanished.
"Do you know what your parent's Patronus' were?" Harry asked, as the silence built up between them. Natasha pondered for a moment before taking a seat on the cushions once again.
"Well since dad's animagus form is a dog, it's likely that his Patronus is a dog of some kind, but as for mum's, she always had an obsession with doves, claiming they were the symbol of hope and peace. I even saw her a few times conjure her Patronus just so that she could remember dad, and it was a dove," Natasha explained, reminiscing in the moments of her mother's magic.
Aurelia had been quite the user of magic, always showing Natasha the charms she knew how to produce, including her Patronus charm. She had always wanted Natasha to believe in the good of magic, so often, when Natasha was only little, she would use her magic to light up Natasha's room at night.
"Well Sirius told me that my parents' Patronus' were a stag and a doe, and I feel proud to know that my Patronus is the same as their ones," Harry said with a said smile, and Natasha leant her head on his shoulder as he sat back down.
They sat together in silence for a while until Natasha cleared her throat, looking at the time. "Holy shit balls! Harry, dinner starts in two minutes!" Natasha shrieked, jumping from her spot. She wasted no time in pulling Harry to his feet, ignoring his protests.
"Harry, if I don't get a plate of pumpkin pasties due to your whining, I'll murder you with grandma Walburga's portrait," she threatened through clenched teeth, shutting him up straight away.
They walked out of the Room of Requirement quietly, making sure that no one was watching them as the door disappeared. Natasha straightened out her jumper before shrugging on her Gryffindor robes once again, tucking her wand into her hair.
The two quickly walked the short distance to the Great Hall, catching up with some other members of Dumbledore's Army who had just been informed of their new meeting spot. Ginny walked with Natasha to the Gryffindor table, where Fred, Lee and George were waiting for Natasha.
"Finally, Fred has been whining about you for an hour, he's yours now," Lee said as Natasha sat down beside Fred. Fred instantly latched onto her arm and hugged it tight, not wanting to let go.
"I missed you baby, they were being mean to me as we placed the fanged frisbees in Filch's office!" he whined, kissing her all over her face. Natasha grimaced and put her hand up, causing Fred to kiss her hand instead.
"Freddie, I wasn't gone that long, Harry was just teaching me how to do a Patronus," Natasha explained quietly, and the three boys gasped, now leaning on their elbows on the table."Ooooo what animal is it?! Is it a skunk, a kitty cat, A LION?!" George whisper-shouted, and Natasha shook her head with a laugh, taking a bite out of the roast beef she had just placed on her plate.
"It's a Norwegian Ridgeback dragon," she said quietly, slapping her hand over Fred's mouth just as he gasped. George and Lee's eyes widened, and Natasha shot them a warning look before they could talk.
She slowly removed her hand from her boyfriend's mouth, and his jaw was slack as he tried to find words. "You do realise that's rare Natasha?" Hermione's voice said a few people down, and Natasha looked down the row to see Ron, Neville, Seamus, Dean, Ginny and Hermione looking at her in awe.
"Oh, I need to work on my whispering skills," grumbled Natasha, as the Gryffindor members of Dumbledore's Army started to fire questions at her throughout her whole meal.
