Natasha had never wanted to kill her godbrother more than she did now.

After his miraculous resurrection, she had begun planning ways to prank him to the ends of the world, furious he had allowed Ginny to be torn as she was when she had seen him lifeless.

She was also mad that he had nearly left Lily and James childless when she had just brought them back, but her anger was swept aside as the last of Voldemort's forces began to rush towards them, some running at first only to disapparate to try and escape.

"Fuck it," she growled, smirking as she stood dead on facing the Death Eaters, her newly resurrected group of wizards and witches stepping behind her to back her up. Most had found wands of deceased Death Eaters, so they stood in a dual stance, ready to take on the people before them.

"WHERE ON THE BLOODY EARTH DID THESE DUDES COME FROM?!" Adrian cried from the side, tackling a Death Eater to the ground. He began beating up the man, not once missing his face, and as the man groaned in pain, Adrian stood up, stepping on his chest lightly before walking over him, knowing full well that man wouldn't be able to get up without medical attention.

"Found out I was the child of another prophecy, brought some people back to life. Just the usual!" Natasha called back, kicking someone out of the way to jinx more people. Some Death Eaters began to remove their masks, trying to see if they would be able to see better, but two people made Adrian stop cold in his tracks.

His parents, deathly pale albeit alive, stood in front of him, carrying disappointed looks, and their wands raised at Adrian. "You've betrayed the family name, Adrian," Cynella spat, glaring at her son with utmost hatred.

She took a step closer, expecting her once cowardly son to step back, but he didn't, instead standing his ground and raising his own wand. "You betrayed my trust. And your privilege as my mother," he said through gritted teeth, watched on by Oliver who was close by after seeing Adrian with his parents.

"How dare you speak to your mother like that Adrian!" August Pucey roared, his dark eyes flitting from side to side. Oliver, deciding he had had enough, rode down towards the three, stopping beside Adrian, who smiled faintly.

"I've got your back, babe," Oliver said with a smirk, pulling Adrian into a kiss in front of Cynella and August, whose mouth were agape as they saw their son kissing another man.

Adrian was the first to break up the kiss, pecking Oliver's lips quickly. August and Cynella spluttered, trying to find words for what they had just witnessed, giving Adrian and Oliver the time to hold hands, their wands raised.

"I'm not sorry for being who I am, just for your information," Adrian laughed. "Stupefy!"

Both Cynella and August were thrown back into the crowd of Death Eaters, knocking over quite a few, and Natasha looked back to him, smiling in gratitude. "LOVE YOU ADRIAN!" she shouted with glee, punching out the last of the standing Death Eaters in their area with a grin.

The remaining Death Eaters were either all inside now or gone, so Natasha ran back inside whilst Adrian clambered onto Oliver's broom, hugging Oliver's waist as he lifted off the ground. The two flew off into the sky as dementors trailed around the outskirts of the school, not moving as fear still lingered in the younger students locked away in their dorms.

"Adrian, can you cast a patronus charm?" Oliver asked from the front, expertly weaving through the dementors. He showed no fear, being the most comfortable on a broom, but Adrian's sudden fear of casting a patronus had attracted the attention of some of the dementors.

"I've never been able to," he said with a deflated sigh, looking ahead past Oliver. "I've tried so many times, especially after learning Sirius, Aurelia, Natasha and even Fred could perform them, but I've never been able to catch the right memory."

"You don't need a memory, Aid." Oliver's words were crisp as he stopped above the pool of dementors, turning around to face Adrian. "All you need is a happy feeling, or something that warms your soul. I know for a fact Natasha's memory isn't real, she thinks about Lily and James, and the rest of her parents' friend alive and well, but it works for her."

Adrian pondered Oliver's words, as Oliver continued flying once again, concentrating only on Adrian. Adrian's face scrunched up as he tried desperately to claw for a memory, until his eyes snapped open, and he raised his wand once again.

"You can do it, my love. I know you can," Oliver whispered, squeezing Adrian's remaining hand that sat around his middle.

"EXPECTO PATRONUM!" he shouted into the dementors, shutting his eyes and pointing his wand towards them. For a split second, all was silent, until a blue stream of light shot out of his wand, directed towards the dementors.

The blue light flickered, before transforming into brilliant swan, which sparkled against the moonlight. Adrian laughed in shock as Oliver cried out in glee, both watching the blue swan as it floated amongst the dementors, sending them away back in the direction of Azkaban.

"Ha!" Adrian shouted, flipping off the dementors. "Take that you soul sucking wankers!"

Oliver grinned as he landed on the roof of the Astronomy Tower, throwing the broom aside as he grabbed Adrian's shirt, slamming their lips together. Unlike their earlier kiss, which had been one of defiance towards his partner's parents, this one was passionate, the attachment of their lips the beginning of the formation of their souls as one.

Adrian ran his hands through Oliver's hair, which he had grown out slightly since leaving school, and Oliver grinned against Adrian's lips, tugging on his belt. "Sex on the Astronomy Tower? You naughty boy," Adrian scolded playfully, moving to kiss down Oliver's neck.

"Oh darling, we will be doing so much more than sex," Oliver growled, apparating with Adrian back to his apartment, leaving behind only a piece of paper telling everyone where they were going, which floated down into the palms of Natasha inside the Great Hall, who just smirked with a shake of her head.

"Those horny bastards," she quipped, turning back to Lily and James who were currently hugging Remus. Harry was still nowhere to be found, but Natasha knew in her heart that the final battle had commenced between Voldemort and Harry, and her godbrother would be victorious.

He just had to be.
