"Hey Freddie, do you remember those coins Harry gave to us back in the days of DA?" Natasha called out from their bedroom, fumbling with her said coin whilst her son slept just metres away in his crib.
"I'm pretty sure George and I swapped coins after the first meeting because we wanted to be rebels, but sure I remember them. Why do you ask?" he said from their ensuite, walking out in his pyjamas.
The sun had already set outside, so the two were planning for an early night, in hopes to get up early the next morning to take Reggie to meet Lauren and her new boyfriend, who were both living out in a muggle town north of London.
"My coin seems to be getting hotter and hotter, like it's working again. Does yours say anything?" she asked, and Fred ducked into their closet, where both he and Natasha's old Gryffindor robes were, fishing in his pocket until he got a hold of his coin, which like Natasha had said about hers, was quite warm.
"Let me see, there's the muggle queen on the front and here's- shit," he finished, glancing at his wife worriedly.
"Harry has called for us, for all the members of the Order and the DA. He's at Hogwarts right now, ready for a battle."
Natasha sighed, before picking up Regulus from his crib, trying her hardest to not disturb him. "And we will go and fight. But first, we need to get Regulus to Andromeda, same with Dora and Teddy. They can't stay in an unguarded house whilst we fight," she instructed, and he nodded, going to awaken Tonks and Remus whilst Natasha apparated with Regulus to Andromeda's small cottage, where the woman was quietly sipping her tea.
"Natasha? Why are you here so late child?"
"The battle is here Andromeda, just like my mother and I saw. Fred, Remus and I will be heading off to Hogwarts, but Nymphadora, Teddy and Regulus need to stay somewhere secure, just as we planned."
Andromeda nodded, and Natasha handed Regulus over, kissing his head gently with tears glistening in her blue eyes. "Mummy loves you Reggie, she always will, even if she's not with you. I will come back, both your father and I will my darling, even if that means we cheat death a thousand times," she whispered, as Nymphadora, Fred and Teddy apparated into the home, Teddy asleep just as Regulus had been.
Fred took no time in rushing to say goodbye to his son, and he too kissed Regulus' head, before slipping a small teddy bear into the baby's grasp, cooing silent words of goodbye into his ear.
"I love you Regulus," he muttered gently, pressing one more kiss to the head of his son, as Natasha laced her fingers with his.
"We'll be back," they said in a sad unison, and they apparated to Hogsmeade, where they were met with fellow members of the Order of the Phoenix. Some others there however weren't apart of the Order, such as Felicity, Barnaby, Kira and Joan, who Natasha remembered was Wendy's older sister.
"Wendy would be stoked right now to get a shot at Peter," Joan grumbled to Kira, who nodded as she let her curly hair fall loosely down her back.
"I'd be stoked to get him in a headlock, bloody rodent," Kira muttered back.
All of the Order members crept silently through the streets of Hogsmeade, trying to not get caught, until Sirius and Remus beckoned some of the younger members over, pointing to Honeydukes.
"You remember the passage?" Sirius asked, and he earned nods from all of the young members, apart from Felicity who wore a grimace.
"We shall use another passage to enter, but Harry shall need backup in the hall, so when we all arrive on the grounds, I want some of you to come to wherever Harry is, and the rest of you to start casting protective spells around the grounds," Remus instructed.
Fred took Natasha's hand, as did George with Angelina, and they four led the small group with them to Honeydukes, made up of Lee, Adrian, Oliver, Lauren, Alicia, and Felicity. Alicia and Lee walked at the back together, still going strong after dating for a few years, whilst Lauren kept a close eye on Felicity, still not able to trust the girl after figuring out Felicity was in love with Fred.
"How long is the tunnel?" Adrian asked curiously, suddenly nervous about possibly fighting his parents and former family friends. Oliver made sure to keep Adrian close, channelling his bravery that had gotten him sorted into Gryffindor, much appreciated by his partner.
"It's a fair few minutes' walk, no longer than any of the trails the others will take, but we should grab some sweets on the way for students, as I know for certain the younger ones will need consoling," Natasha answered, unlocking the back entrance to Honeydukes with a quick alohomora.
"That's settled then, Natasha, you and Adrian can collect some bagful's, whilst the rest of us go up ahead. From there, we should be near the broom cupboard, which means Oliver, Alicia and Angelina can grab brooms for us whilst the rest of us head off to where Remus and the others will be," Fred said quickly, and he brought Natasha into a tight embrace, kissing her gently whilst savouring the taste of her lips.
"Meet me up by the twisting tree in the courtyard once you and Adrian are finished, I love you," he whispered, pressing their foreheads together briefly, and Oliver did the same with Adrian, slyly slipping a small ruby ring onto Adrian's ring finger, before kissing it, leaving swiftly with the rest of the group.
"Did he just-?
"Yes."
"And did you say-?"
"Yes."
"ADRIAN."
"NATASHA."
"You're ENGAGED."
"I KNOW. I'm the one who said YES."
"Damn, you bet Grace and Barnaby's record. Battle hasn't even started yet and you've already got a ring on your finger. At least they waited till the battle was nearly over."
"Shut up and help me get some of these sweets into bags."
"Yes, future Mr Wood."
"I hate you."
"I love you too brother."
