I walked into school on Monday very confused. Courtney and Duncan were holding hands? To be honest I've always known they were meant for each other. Although I was in a relationships, I didnt know how to feel. I didnt know how to open up to Alejandro. We've been dating since the end of our eleventh year, so only for about four months. Relationships scared me. Alejandro was my first boyfriend because I always turned men down. They usually never provoked interest in me. Obviously, I was too good for them all. Apart from Alejandro. He just turned on a switch in me. And it scared me. This feeling was so new aswell as nervracking.

I decided I was going to tone it down with us. Maybe have an attitude with him? I was so torn. So, as I walked to the gates I saw hin talking to Duncan, I needed him to know I was "mad". I brushed my shoulders against him a little too hard. This obviously strucked him by surprise. "New way of greeting each other?" he asked. "Oh, I didnt see you there. Hm. Weird" I shortly said back. "Hey what'd I do?" I didnt answer but saw him and Duncan share a look. This was working. The remaining of the day, I only talked to Courtney and Bridgette.

In italian ms Dalton announced we were going to Italy to go in deeper for our assignment. "Ok class, since this is the last lesson of the day, I need to inform you that we will be travelling to Italy to explore our culture assignment first hand, and since you are all eighteen, you will be allowed to have around three days to relax. This is a vital part for senior italian so please make sure your parents sign this permission form" she smiled.

I was excited to go but not that excited because I knew Duncan and Courtney and Bridgette and Geoff will be down eachothers escoffogases the whole time. Maybe I could work things out with Al while we were there.

It was the day before the trip and the people that were going were me, Alejandro, Court, Duncan, Geoff, Bridgette, Noah, Cody, DJ, Brody and of course Blainely, our so called 'supervisor', Mr McLean and obviously Duncan's favourite, chef. We were assigning rooms which I got pared with Courtney and Bridgette. This trip was going to be the highlight of the year. I was pretty sure the boys had Alejandro, Geoff and Duncan in one dorm and DJ, Noah and Cody in another. Since it was Italy I was extremely excited for the free days. The scenery would definitely change my life forever. It hit time to go and we all said goodbye to our parents and siblings, I however have only got my mum, cat and sister. Preferably my cat before my sister. The airport brought back many memories of going on family trips at 1 am, before my dad left of course. At the time I didn't understand why he left but now I do. He was obviously jealous of how fabulous and charming I was. Oh and maybe my mum, she's pretty cool.

We bordered the plane at exactly 10 pm, so I wasn't that tired. I sat next to Alejandro but tried to keep my distance, hoping he would get the hint. Deep inside I didn't want him to, but I knew it was for the best if we split up. I was not one for relationships. Now, dating Alejandro it was way harder than it seemed. He had a special hold on me. I so badly didn't want to break up because it had been so good except for the fact that I was not ready for a serious relationship.

Courtney sat next to Duncan and they surprisingly didn't fight, only made out and watched IT. New flash, never go to your friend at 12 am unknowing that there is a dancing clown scaring the shit out of twelve year olds on the screen. Never again.
Bridgette sat besides Geoff in which they watched Disney movies. DJ sat besides Geoff and Bridgette too, also tuning in for the Disney. Too be honest Disney was my guilty pleasure. Cody somehow watched Riverdale and SUNG along. Please don't ask why. And Noah being Noah, made sleezy comments about the show while reading Charles Dickens. Honestly didn't blame him.   Ms Dalton minded her own business and put on a tape of her favourite Italian movie, Italo. I like Ms Dalton, she will tell you off but very politely. She minds her own business and doesn't pry on your inner personal life. 

We got to the rooms and was less than disappointed. We arrived there at 10 am. This was principal McLean in charge of course. Who by the way, ate cocktails in first class with Chef leaving Blainely to 'supervise' which she obviously didn't do. Instead she resulted in watching 'Legally Blonde'. Quoting EVERY LINE. Talk about annoying. I eventually fell asleep around 1 am like many others. Also on another note, Cody is a HUGE Hamilton fan. Like obsessive. Worse than Harold spitting random facts about Malaysia out of his freckled ass in the middle of P.E. And THATS saying a lot.

Back to the hotel, there were cracks in the wall, white single beds which were surprisingly somewhat clean, I think apart from Courtney's bed. There was a huge stain which we discovered later. We threw our duffle bags down which did make a noticeable noise. My duffle bag consisted of towels, clothes, pajamas, school things, period equipment, more toiletries, makeup and a fluffy pillow. Was not about to catch head lice. Who knows who rested their head on my pillow before me? Like I said, absolutely not. We took a good look at the boys room, it was 'clean' according to Duncan, but got a good tidy by Courtney when she saw the bomb shell. "Aww they are like a married couple" DJ hummed, who has also come to check out the room. Courtney and Duncan shared a look but went into a fit of laughter. "They really are meant to be" I thought to myself.

The pool was enormous, with the company of Italian employees serving prossicuto and baby tomatoes with sticks in them. I took a bite and instantly fell in love. I absolutely adored and fantasised the Italian culture. The lobby was massive with Zebra prints on all the chairs and elegant couches. It was too bad that Principal McLean really cheaped out on production on our rooms, leaving us with the worst rooms in the entire hotel. Real nice. The rest of the hotel was absolutely gorgeous. And, with the surprise of a party room! I was so excited for the parties. I knew that would be the best day of my life.
