Jay’s POV

*Earlier that day*

“Please don’t leave me here” I say and I can feel my pulse racing. They wouldn’t do that to me would they? What if the other vampires come for me, the bad vampires? I wouldn’t be able to protect myself from them.

“We’ll be back in the morning” Tom says, as if it doesn’t even bother him. The others soon disappear off out of the window, leaving me alone in the horrible bed and breakfast. I know it was cheap, but this place is just ridiculous. As I take another look around the room, I notice there there’s mould on the ceiling and there’s dust everywhere. Thank god I don’t have asthma. I look down at my watch and then I realise that it’s half nine. It’s not particularly late, but I suppose it couldn’t hurt for me to get some rest. After all, it is a full moon tomorrow. I always dread that part and it’s hardly surprising, who really wants to change into a monster for one night a month? Well, I know I don’t, that’s for sure. I walk over to the window, where I close the curtains and then I make my way over to the bed, I push the cover to one side, before getting inside.

As my foot slides along the sheets, I feel something move. I move my foot in fear of what it might be and as I throw the cover onto the floor, I realise that in my bed is a cockroach. How the hell can these people make someone pay to stay here? This should be against the law! I jump out of the bed, in slight disgust. Where the hell am I supposed to sleep now?

I take a deep breath, before putting my shoes and coat back on. I then open my room door, to complain about the poor service, but as the door opens, I see a man standing in front of me. He must have been about to knock on the door. He’s quite pale, with red lips and black hair. The thing that screams out most to me, is his eyes. They’re a bright yellow colour.

“Do you work here?” I ask him, with eyebrow raised. He doesn’t answer me though, he just smirks. “Well?” I ask. He leans forward and sniffs my neck.

“Boys, we’ve got him” he announces. Before I can even move, two other men appear on either side of him, all with matching smirks. “Get him” he says, and the other two start to walk towards me. I take a step back, in horror, but even I know I can’t escape. These aren’t your regular kidnappers, these are vampires. I wouldn’t have even noticed if they hadn’t sniffed me and that’s the scary thing. Those innocent beings out there, don’t even know that the devil walks among them in the form of many different human like bodies. I try to close the door, but they’re too strong. They just hold the door open as they walk in, knowing that I can’t do anything about it. I can’t help but think that maybe this wouldn’t have happened if the boys had stayed with me, or wait a second. What if this was all a plan? They don’t seem to be here after all, so what if they set this up. I know they were once my friends and band members, but vampires aren’t human, they don’t have human feelings like me. They’re all the same.

I gasp as one of the vampires leans out and grabs hold of my arm. He swings me round, so my arm is now behind my back and so is he. It’s not long before I find myself being dragged down the hall ways of the horrible bed and breakfast. As I pass through the reception, I notice that there are many other vampires waiting there, but they don’t seem to be doing anything.

“Finish them off” I hear one of them say. At that moment I notice that the family who own the bed and breakfast are lying on the floor, tied up. It’s not long before the female vampires are dragging them into one of the other rooms.

It’s not long before I find myself being shoved into the back of a van and there’s nothing I can do about it. One of the vampires take the time to tie me up and as the first two get out of the van and walk round to the front, where the drivers seat is. The other one sits down in the back of the van with me. I think it’s so that I don’t get away, when I don’t see how that is possible anyway, seeing as though I’m tied up.
