Chapter 4

Raijin Quickly kicked Apollo Gluttony Off of him. Raijin ran into the kitchen and grabbed a large kitchen knife out of its container. The men in hoods walked down the stairs. They all pulled out a knife from underneath their sleeves. Calista kicked away one of the hooded figures' knives before picking it up. Calista ran towards a man in hoods and impaled him through the stomach. A swat team member leaped through the broken window and fired his assault rifle at calista. She flipped over the couch and sat behind it. He fired at the couch and through the walls. The soldier moved around the couch. Calista kicked the soldier's ankle causing him to fall over. She leaped on top of him and jammed her knife into his neck. She grabbed the assault rifle and nearly dropped it due to its weight. She pointed it at the men atop the stairs and pressed the trigger. She fired several bullets before falling over due to recoil. Gluttony dashed into the kitchen, nearly slicing Raijin and clashing blades together. Their mother was terrified and attempted to flee out of the house. She tried to run to the front door and open it. Raijin pushed the boy who had new bandages and a shirt. The woman screamed as all the lights focused on her. Raijin shoved the boy out of the way and stabbed Gluttony beforehand. He grabbed his mom and pulled her away from the front door. Machine gun fire covered the entrance to the house. Raijin ran towards the back door. More men in hoods stood in the way. They charged at the boy. Raijin let go of his mothers hand and kicked one of them while flipping the other one. He then grabbed a handgun from one of the men. The two entered the outside. More lights focused on them. Raijin began firing the pistol that still had a loaded clip. It killed several officers. Calista followed them. They hid behind the vehicle their mom drives. "I need something to work!" Raijin said as he looked at his hand. With his sweat and panic, the heat feeling reached his chest again. "Raijin gripped his chest. The electricity aura formed around him. The electricity short circuited all vehicles in the area. "Sweat poured off of Raijin even further. All the bright lights disappeared. The only light that showered among the house was from the sun. the sky had a bright reddish pink color. Everyone's ears rang from the gunshots. "Run in that direction, it's the only spot, we can make cover with all the cars in the way," Raijin said looking back to their mom and Calista. The two nodded their heads. They began running. Raijin followed behind before falling to his knees. "What's going on with you." Calista said as she was surprised. Raijin attempted to regain balance and pressed his hand on the door of the military jeep. Unknowingly, the vehicle began to melt, the liquid metal from the car door started to fall into the grass. "What are you," Calista said as she paused for a moment. "JUST GO!" Raijin shouted. The girl turned around and held her mothers hand as she ran. "Raijins left eye started glowing. In hopes that this power he had would work, he extended his hand out to the group of police cars and trucks. All the electricity poured in one direction hitting one of the police vehicles. The electric overloaded one of the engines before causing the car to explode. All the cars in the field began to explode in a chain reaction. Raijin gripped his harm and chased after his other two family members. Raijin managed to catch up and dash through some woods, losing the police. The idea of taking so many people's lives filled both Carista's and Raijins mind. "Why are they after us, our family has done nothing to us. Your father wouldn't do this would he?" Their mother said in a heartbroken soft voice. "We are normal people, we don't deserve this," their mother said with tears coming down her face. Raijin knew what this was for. They wanted to silence him. He has seen too much. The government wanted to kill him. This pain to their family is due to his ignorance, due to being too curious. Do to want their family whole again. "Raijin and his family made it to the main city without being detected. "Mom, you need to find a shelter. Both of you, whatever is the nearest shelter or homeless shelter, I'll find it. I'll go get us some food. "Be safe, I want my baby back to me," the mother said. Raijin walked around the city avoiding police officers that were standing around. He was looking around him for any nearby shops. Raijin stopped walking when he noticed the boy in front of him. "He seems off to me," Raijin thought as he looked at the same boy he bumped into before. The boy had dark blue hair and wore a grey jacket. The two made eye contact. Suddenly an ocean of light covered the sky. Raijin looked behind him. A large gust of wind blew everything away. Debris covered the street. The clouds in the sky split apart. A loud explosion was heard, everything in that direction descientigrated The shockwave shook the planet.
