Cage of the Shattered

Chapter 6

Raijin stepped back in surprise. The thought of someone landing in front of him caught him off guard. Allen looked back at the boy who flew down to the ground in shock at who this person might be. He had short black hair that was about the length of his shoulders and black eyes. He wore blue denim jeans along with white trainers and a white T-shirt covered by a black leather jacket. His name is Kawataki. The other boy's name is Kayle. Kayle's hair was rather shorter than Kawataki although it was more spiky he black eyes matched Kawasaki's. He wore a grey Hoodie with black denim jeans and grey trainers.

" hey do you have any idea what happened to this place? " Kawataki raised a brow at the 2 boys in front of him while looking at the destroyed city. I think a bomb went off to kill me," Raijin replied. " Why would someone send a bomb to kill you? " Kawataki questioned his glare fixed on Raijin. Allen was confused at the two of them talking as Allen also didn't know why they would send a bomb to kill Raijin. "I've seen things. This world. The government is doing something. Whatever it is, they don't want the public to know," Raijin explains. "They are experimenting on animals. I think these animals came from somewhere else not on earth. We need more information but they will most likely come and check the damage. We need to leave," Raijin says while turning to look behind. "Alright, I'm right behind you." Allen said as he started following Raijin but they suddenly stopped as they noticed something amidst. Multiple black helicopters started flying overhead. Raijin and the other looked up. A spot light shined among them. " Whatever it is that you know that they don't want you too must be something big because they're pulling all the stops to capture you, and in case you haven't noticed there aren't many places to hide or escape to " Kawataki said looking at the helicopters searching for Raijin. Multiple soldiers and military vehicles surrounded the outside crater that Raijin and the others were in. They all stood looking down.

"Target is not dead," one of the soldiers said, talking in a walkie talkie. Allen was afraid because these were different people from the loan sharks that he always dealt with his whole life. "They actually have guns!" Allen said, afraid, shaking while looking at Raijin. " Ok well my guess is we aren't going to be able to negotiate with them, and they definitely are not gonna let us just walk away. I say the only way is to take them down, " Kayle said, trying to find the best way to survive. Raijin looked down at his burnt hands. He had accidentally used his second ability to protect him and Allen from the nuke shockwave. Multiple of the men began firing their assault rifles. Kawataki wasted no time activating his Air element, turning his hair and eyes completely White making an air shield around the 4 boys to save them from their bullets. Suddenly a rocket fired from a launcher, blowing everyone back. More soldiers aimed down with odd looking guns. These guns fired a purple like laser that shredded the debris below them. Allen was still scared but he knew he had to do something so he held both of his hands out and used his fire beam that he just learned a little while ago which incinerated a lot of the soldiers but there still was a lot more. More men fired missiles at the group. " Kayle, I can't handle them, have any ideas? " Kawataki turned to Kayle who just nodded in response walking to where the missiles were coming from and powered up engulfing his body in a purple glow as it faded it revealed Kayle's transformation and he had his glare fixed on the missiles as he raised a hand and sent an energy beam at them destroying them before they had the chance to hit the group. Some men in black hoods began sliding down into the crater. All of them equipped long daggers in each hand. The number of people was up to nearly twenty. The men dashed towards the group. The man was coming toward Allen. Allen then hit one of them in the face so Allen himself wouldn't get hurt. The guy fell down with his nose bloody. Two more tried to jump him from behind but Allen elbowed both of them which also made them both fall down. Two more ran from the side to Allen so Allen decided to hold out his hands to shoot 2 fire blasts which incinerated them alive. Kawataki noticed more black hooded men sliding down the crater and decided to take some out to make it easier for the other guys he rushed to where the black hooded men were and he activated his water element turning his hair eyes completely blue as he opened his water pouch which he had on him at all times in case of emergencies just like this one he wrapped the water around his hand forming a blade like shape and he did the same with his other hand while activating his fire element as red infiltrated his blue hair and eyes he charged at the black hooded men taking a few of them out as he drove his fire blade into one of the man's chest and moving his hand upwards before pulling his hand away cutting the guy completely in half.
