Chapter 9

With the defeat of Apollo Gluttony and Sloth, Raijin set out. He needed food in his system. Raijin escaped the burning school. The school afterwards had completely burned to the ground. Raijin was at his house, he told his mom what happened and what he was going to do next. "Mom, I'm leaving for a while," Raijin yells out to the kitchen as he is adjusting his shoes. "That's fine, when will you be back," his mother said as she was cleaning a plate. "I don't know," Raijin said as his eyes squinted slightly. The woman in the kitchen stopped cleaning and turned around. She began walking towards the boy and the front of the steps. "What's going on now?" the woman says as he rubs Raijin's white hair. "You see mom. I'm not normal anymore. I can't eat this food. I mean i can but i need a special type of food if ima survive and i can't have that here or i'll die," Raijin says as he makes eye contact with her. "So much has already happened. I don't want you to turn into another Deion, never home. You're still a child," The woman as she rubs Raijin's cheek. "I know but if ima live and help the family out, I have to do this," Raijin says with a stern look of determination. The woman quickly hugged her son. "I'll be back when i can, but i'll be back no matter what. I have to learn to control myself one way or another. I'm far too dangerous around you and Calista. I need to get myself straight and then I'll be the man of the house. A man that my father wasn't," Rajin explains with a smile. "I love you," the woman says as she lets go of her firm grip. Not long after, Raijin left the house and wandered what was left of the city. It had been a few hours.

Raijin packed money and clothes into his backpack. He ended up stopping at a local jewelry shop. Raijin walked in and looked around. "I mean, I guess since all I've been wearing, always getting destroyed, i guess I should upgrade huh," Raijin thought to himself. Raijin stopped and looked into a mirror. He walked closer to the mirror and tilted his head. He was analyzing his new eyes. His eyes were originally blue before the accident. His eyes were now orange and purple. Raijin turned away and walked into the earring section. He looked into the glass. He spotted a pair of purple earrings. And then a set of orange earrings across from it. "I'd like those!" Raijin told the clerk. He then pointed at one of the orange. Raijin walked out of the store. He placed the orange earring on his left ear and the purple on his right earring. Raijin then looked across the street and noticed the clothing store. Raijin looked down at his generic black hoodie. Raijin walked across and went in. Raijin spent an hour searching for a new jacket before coming to a white jacket in a display case. "How much for this?" Raijin asks one of the employees. Raijin then bought the jacket. It was a long white jacket with a huge collar. Raijin chose not to zip it up. Raijin walked around more and found himself some food. "I guess i have to go back to where this all started. "First I need something to defend myself with, I can't rely on these powers and I don't have the license to own a gun on my own. "Only thing I can think of is a knife? No, a sword," Raijin thought as he gave a smile and walked further into the city. Raijin found a weapons shop that was close to the nuke crater. "Well i have no id, sooo, someone needs to get it for me," Raijin said to himself as he started looking around. A man was about to walk in before he was stopped at the front door. "Hey man, if there's a sword in there, can you buy it for me? I got money," Raijin whispered to the man. "I don't know who you are but I'm not trying to get in trouble for giving a weapon to a minor," The old man said before opening the door. "Look man, buy the most expensive one and I'll give you two hunded dollars," Raijin said as he handed the man tons of cash. The man counted and then walked in. After around 10 minutes the man walked out. "This is what I could find with the money you gave man. This is a japanese katana called the Kaiser Hidora," costed almost all you had including my pay," the man explains before handing the sword in the sheath to Raijin. "Thank you," Raijin says as he walks off. It was later that night. Raijin went into the crater and snuck past the security. The place was still heavily radiated due to the nuke. Raijin found the steps where the original building of Waterbridge corp once was in the center of the city. Raijin looked around and moved the rocks out of the way. Raijin slid in between the rocks. Raijin landed onto the steps and crawled down them.
