Deion stood up. He moved past the couch. A white haired, dark skinned woman looked up. She noticed the knock at the door as well. The door swung open. A man in a suit and short black hat was standing with a huge smile. The man in the suit bowed his head and pressed his hand on his chest. "Hello, your name is Raijin Kiji? Are you not?" the man said as he glanced up to meet the eyes of the man in dreads in front of him. "Yeah I'm Deion, what is it?" Deion responds. "I've seen your applications, we checked your background, i'd love to say, if you would like, you have the job. You can now be a representative for waterbridge corp. You possess what we need and can become a powerful man," The business man said in happiness. "Deions face lit up. A small girl walked up and stood behind her father. The little girl looked up and looked at businessman and then looked at Deion. The woman on the couch who was holding a small baby was watching the events go down. "Thank you so much for the opportunity!" Deion said as he grabbed the man's hands and shook it. The man let go and reached into a briefcase and handed Deion a bunch of papers. "So this is all you need. Review the papers and then come to the main building so we can have a meeting," the man says. "Alright," Deion responds with a smile before closing the door. He quickly turned around and picked up his daughter. "You hear that calista! We are going to have a happy life. We are going to be leaving this dump and you can get whatever you want!" the man says as he shakes the girl in his arms. The young Calista giggled and hugged him tighter. He held her in one arm and made his way back to the couch. He then kissed his wife's forehead and then caressed the babies cheek. "Raijin, you will be happy, i love you," he said as he pressed his cheek against the baby. "To think with luck of college and all that worthless studying would work out," the mother said sarcastically. "It doesn't matter how we got here. I can't mess this up," Deion said as he places Calista back to the ground.

A few days later he was in a suit of his own. He was outside the doorway to the house. "Good luck," the white haired woman says as she kisses Deion. Deion rubbed the top of Calista's head and then rubbed Raijins hair. Deion then left the house and got into the car. He made his way to the main central building. He got out of the car and walked into the main office. "Hey i'm here for some sort of interview of some sort?" Deion asked the office lady. "Oh your him, take the elevator to the top floor. Arrows should point you to a room called meeting room. "Deion nodded his head and made his way to the elevator and pressed it. He took the elevator and then stepped out after a minute. He then looked side to side and followed the signs and reached two huge doors. He pushed them forward and entered. His mind widened in the large room. The windows were huge and had a view over the big city. The clouds were huge and everything below them were like dots. Six men were sitting at a round table. "You must be the new hire," one of the men said, glancing at the front entrance. "Hehe yeah," Deion said as he took a seat at the large table. "You understand what's going on right," one of the other men with glasses asked. "I do," Deion responds. "You basically like a back up mayor for this city. You will be making the financial decisions behind the scenes. Due to your knowledge and experience, we think you would be the fit. Your pay starts at 40$ an hour. The city is in your hands," the man says as he extends his hands out for a handshake. Deion responds in kindness. Deion and the group explained how the money system worked and what the community thinks needed to be fixed, Deion would be given time to think and tell the group what to focus on and why. Deion then gave an explanation on himself and his family's situation. He was then to tell them about himself. Suddenly the door opened up. Everyone looked at the entrance. A tall man with brown hair in a suit with golden sunglasses entered the room. Everyone in the room besides Deion stood up and bowed. "What's going on?" Deion asked himself. "Hello everyone," the man said with a smug look. "That man is the ceo. He is in charge of everything. He is a very powerful individual. He may be the equivalent of the president at this point," one of the men whispered to Deion. He then looked in surprise. The brown haired man grabbed a chair from the side of the room and placed the chair in front of Deion and sat in front of him. He swiveled Deions chair to the side so Deion and the man could be across from each other. "So you're the new guy to replace that old man huh," the man said with a smug smile. Nervous sweat poured out of Deion. He knew that something was off. The vibe and atmosphere around the office let alone Deion's reality had completely shifted. The pressure around them had got heavier. Deion felt like he was talking to god himself in that moment. "It will be nice working with you, don't fail me now," the man said as he tilted his head. "I don't really come around much but I had to for an important moment like this. You can just call me Michael," the man said as he adjusted his sunglasses. With the sunlight hitting the window perfectly and reaching the back of the room at the right angle, Deion noticed the man's eyes. His eyes were a bright golden color. "Deion was unsure if it simply contacts or not but he came to the conclusion that they were not just because it would fit his character. Deion said nothing about it and continued to go along with everything the man was sayin. The group continued to speak on what the current money crisis was in the city. From then on Deion had officially joined in. a few years would go by. Deion would buy his family a new home in the outside of the city. The city would slowly undergo construction. Various roads and buildings would get fixed up. Hospitals got a new fund and got larger buildings. New homes were being built along with more police stations. Crime rate would go down tremendously. Tax would become less and more and more citizens joined the city. Raijin would become five years old. Calista would become eight years old. Over the years, the family would receive new computers, tv's, cars, home reconstruction and more. At the cost of Deion going to work six days out of the week. Soon Deion wouldn't come home at all. Deion would spend days at hotels and or a room area in the building. Every other day he would go home for a meal.
