Katrina's P.O.V.
It was still late at night by the time we found another safe place to stay.

"We need to call HQ, my ammo is running low." My voice rang out from the small room.

Chris put his finger to his ear to activate the radio between us and HQ.

"It's just static, do either of you get anything?"

Piers and I soon found out that there was currently no connection to HQ. We are left isolated in a town overrun by monsters.

"Let me see the radio pieces."

Everything will be fine, I can find the problem and fix it in no time. I grabbed my supplies from my backpack and began working. As I was working through the technology I found something. It was like nothing I've seen before, and it's definitely not something the BSAA would use. After some analyzing I found out what it was.

"The thing in our radio pieces stops us from receiving messages, I took them out from all of ours but it may be able to continue blocking messages. Incoming or outgoing."

"In that case we should lay low and be extremely careful, if something happens we won't be getting any help."

Chris is right, but that will make this mission 10x harder. I was about to go back to watching over them as they slept, but Chris refused saying "You and Piers deserve some rest," and continued to tell us that old souls like him don't need the rest. I was just staying calm and obeying orders on the outside, on the inside I was excited. It hadn't been long since I was held in Piers' grasp, yet after that month of his isolation I need him more.

I was sleeping on yet another uncomfortable floor. Without Piers I would be huffing and puffing, but he makes me comfortable. I cherished every moment his arms were wrapped around me as much as I could before drifting off to sleep.

Light seeped through the broken, ruined curtains. Wow, we made it through the night. I just had to crack a smile, I was engulfed in the man I think I love and as much as I complain missions are my favorite places to be.

"Kat we graduate the academy tomorrow, I don't know when we'll see eachother again. So, we have to make this one last night special."

Piers continued to plead, but I was already excited by his idea.

"Lets take a late-night swim!"

Swimming is my favorite- the sand, the water, and on a night like tonight it will be breath-taking.

At 11 o'clock we snuck out of the BSAA Training Academy and on to the white Floridan beaches. We spent hours splashing eachother, swimming, and kissing. The kissing became heated and I gave myself to him. We were eachother's firsts. I never wanted to share something so intimate with anyone else and I still agree with my decision. He is my first love. I would die for him any day.

I woke up from the dream, well more of a memory, they always come when I fall back asleep. Then I noticed the absence of heat beside me. Piers! He's gone, where could h- I interrupted my own thoughts by seeing him and Captain laughing together and eating some of our freeze-dried food. It was perfect now, but we have to get moving soon.
