We continued through the crates and stands in the small market area.

"Ah."

Something suddenly pierced my skin. I dropped my gun and reached in to my pants pocket to closely examine whatever just pinched me. The tracker-like thing was the culprit.

"It's the thing I found, it embedded itself in to my skin."

Piers and Chris just looked at each other, then to me. I tried to pull it out, but it wouldn't budge.

"Let's just keep going, I think I'll be ok."

The pain soon subsided.

"Not too much longer, just a few more miles by now," Captain stated cheerily.

These days on the road have not been very kind. I feel like every second is a minute long. Every time we got a rest, something happened to ruin it. But I can't complain, Piers is here. We continued in to the exposed street, guns ready.

"So we meet again."

Ada. She looked at all of us, but her eyes lingered on Piers. I want to kill her for many reasons.

"I know that you have found one of my trackers."

How would she know that?

"You are quite the damsel in distress."

In one swift motion, she took to the skies and clicked a button. The second she clicked that button, pain seared in to my leg. It took me by surprise so I screamed, which attracted some monsters. That tracker we found was obviously hers, but it must have some other purpose.

It was in a mutant and it obviously has the power to make me feel like I'm being stabbed repeatedly. What is this? If only I had more information, and less of a searing pain going up my leg.

Piers and Chris were fighting off zombies and I was laying on the ground helpless like a- damsel in distress. Ada was using my find against me. That must have been what she was referring to before she left.

"Piers beh-hind you."

It was hard to talk because of the pain. He turned his head to the thing behind him. Within seconds the monster became nothingness. Piers at first, turned his head back in front but then he turned again. He must have just noticed what happened to me.

"Kat what happened?"

He was really worried, even though he tried to hide it I could plainly see.

"Ad-ada's track-ker."

I was trying to heal, but I couldn't with this thing still inside me.

He picked me up bridal-style and started running in to the horrific scene. Bodies littered the ground, but that wasn't exactly anything new.
