Later that evening, Regina was getting dressed after her shower. She was stood in a pair of pyjama shorts and nothing else when Emma walked in. She looked up at the brunette annoyed, not caring she was half naked.
"Please come in, I was only getting dressed" Regina sarcastically said, lifting her top over her head. Emma huffed as she walked over to the bed, dropping down on it. "What's got your knickers in a twist"
"Steph, dad, Juliana and you" Emma sighed dramatically, looking up at the ceiling with a pouty face.
"Right, let's go in order. First, Steph, what did she do" Regina asked over her shoulder, climbing into bed beside the blonde.
"It took me an hour just to get her to bed! She's been screaming and crying the whole time, it goes straight through my fucking ears" Emma sighed, rubbing her tired eyes as she was exhausted.
"I heard. Em, you should sing for her, your voice is beautiful" Regina softly said, glancing beside her as she remembered the sound.
"I'll try, reading a story doesn't work" Emma said with a slight chuckle, hating that she didn't think of that.
"There we go, one problem solved. Now, you're dad" Regina questioned, giggling a little as she knew the blonde was just in a bad mood.
"He keeps wanting me to talk more about my mum and how I feel, I never talk about it for a reason" Emma replied, trying not to think about her mother's death.
"You haven't spoken about it since she died, you should try off small. Sometimes talking about it will make you smile and sometimes it will make you cry but both are ok. You can try something small now if you want" Regina said in a soft but reassuring voice, knowing the blonde has never said anything about it.
"Umm... She use to tell me stories of when she was a kid while she braided my hair" Emma said in a quiet voice, not letting herself get emotional but a small smile appeared.
"See, that's was good and I'm proud" Regina said, holding the blonde hand to prove it.
"Thank you"
"It's ok. Now, moving into the big problems, we can start with Juliana"
"She's really pissing me off lately. She doesn't know anything about me, your conversation earlier proved that" Emma said with an angry look, burning holes into the ceiling.
"You heard that" Regina quickly questioned, sitting up in slight shock.
"Yeah, which brings me to my problem with you... You know everything about me and that's not fair" Emma sighed dramatically, refusing to look at the brunette.
"I've known you for years, of course I do" Regina said in a calmer tone, sitting up properly to see the woman better.
"I know more about you than you know... I know that every night, from the night we met, you wait until I'm asleep and pray for my happiness" Emma said, starting off as if she was proving a point but realising it's something she loves. Regina looked at her with shock, having no idea the blonde knew that. Emma finally locked eyes with Regina and gave a small smile. "It was my favourite time of day to pretend to be asleep and listen to you"
Regina's face was shocked to know Emma was aware of this. The blonde smiled and looked back at the ceiling, still annoyed at everything. Regina rested down beside her and looked up as well, both lying in peace.
"I know that you love twilight but you would never tell anyone" Regina said with a small giggle, remembering the blonde admitting that secret.
"I know that the only man you would ever fall in love with is Johnny Depp" Emma chuckled, throwing a small glance across at the brunette.
"I know that if I call you my butter cup and move hair behind your ear, you'll blush"
"I know that if I kiss you from a certain angel, I'll kiss that scar on your lip and make you smile"
Regina blushed at the thought, unable to control her smile. She loved those kisses more any other, they made her insecurity something she loved. Regina turned her gaze towards Emma, prompting her to do the same.
"I know that you have 40 different ways of pouting your lip, all meaning different things" Regina said with a giggle, the blonde unable to stop herself joining in.
"And I know you have 40 different ways of rolling your eyes, all meaning different things" Emma added, laughing alongside the brunettes beside her.
"I know that the one thing that is guaranteed to make you puke in exactly 30 seconds is drinking warm milk; the smell will take a minute to puke" Regina said, giving a small smile and giggle at the memory that went with that.
"I know the exact location, on your back, that you won't let anyone to touch" Emma softly said, just looking into the vulnerable brown eyes.
"I know the exact spot on your neck that will make your legs feel like jelly if I even kiss it" Regina added, reaching to brush the stop she meant.
"I know if I move closer to you and rest my hand on your cheek" Emma started, doing the actions to match her words. "Your eyes go straight to my lips"
"I know that if I rest my head on yours, your breath catches in your throat" Regina added, moving closer to complete her move.
They were both at a loss of words, just wanting to move in and take the other as their own. Regina's hand snaked onto the blondes hip as tugged her ever so slightly closer. Neither wanted to make the first move but neither could move away, they were stuck. This moment lasted a minute, maybe more, before the sound of Emma's phone getting a message was heard. Regina felt the vibrations from it as her hand was close to the blondes back pocket. She reached in and pulled it out, catching a glimpse of it. This snapped Regina out of it all and promoted her to sit up.
"It's your girlfriend" Regina simply said, placing the phone beside the blonde before standing up. Emma sat up a read the message, choosing to ignore it and look back at Regina. The brunette was gripping her hair as she was stressed, knowing she shouldn't have been that stupid. "You should leave now"
"No, Gina, come on, don't kick me out because of that" Emma sighed, standing from the bed but keeping her distance.
"Why are you with her" Regina asked suddenly, spinning round to glare at the woman.
"What" Emma questioned, taken back by the brunettes words.
"Why are you with her? I mean, it doesn't take an idiot to know you don't love Juliana, even Juliana herself isn't stupid enough to believe you love her and want to be with her. So, why be with someone so vile and horrible as her" Regina snapped her question, knowing it's been eating her up for days. Emma just stayed quiet, not having an answer she wishes to give. This just made Regina even more mad. "I ASKED YOU A QUESTION"
Within seconds, Regina was pinned up against the wall by her shoulders. Emma was glaring into her eyes as the anger bubbles up inside. Regina wasn't impressed by this; she grabbed the blondes throat and flipped them, pinning Emma against the wall.
"Get the fuck off of me, Regina"
"Then you better loose your attitude, Miss Swan"
Emma was very turned on at this point. Their faces so close, each others warm breath was felt on their lips. Emma poked her tongue out a little and licked Regina's lips ever so slightly, causing a hitch in the brunettes breaths.
"Are you going to make up" Emma whispered against the brunettes lips, causing her to loose all self control.
"You're such a bratty bottom" Regina huffed, crashing her lips into the blonde pair in front.
