"Alright you nerds pray to Cas, I'm gonna go grab Reid from her dad's" Avis instructed Dean and Sam as they walked into the bunker
"Why drive all the way here if- right teleporting" Sam answered his own question, making Avis smile as a whirlpool of water surrounded her. When the water was gone, so was Avis.
"That is so cool" Dean smirked, and Sam rolled his eyes, secretly agreeing with him "Let's hope Cas actually comes around, he won't be exactly happy that we did exactly the opposite of what he said"
"Eh, what's new?" Sam answered and Dean nodded in agreement. Dean closed his eyes and concentrated,
"Cas we uh need your help buddy. So uh, why don't you fly on over here?" He opened one of his eyes to see if Cas was there like he usually did, and they waited
The sound of wings fluttering behind them announced Castiel's appearance. He had a blank expression, but you could almost feel the irritation in his stare. Dean and Sam seemed to because they both awkwardly smiled

As the Winchester's dealt with their angel problem, Avis was left to get her sister. Well, foster sister.
Avis appeared outside of a small cabin in the woods that belonged to Reid's dad, John Walker. He was a father figure to Avis in a way, but she didn't really hang enough around to become attached to him as much as Bobby.
She knocked twice before entering the house and found Reid at the kitchen counter drinking a lemonade. She fiddled with the straw in her mouth as she scrolled through her phone, not even noticing Avis enter the house
"If I was a serial killer you would already be dead, you know that right?" Reid smirks and Avis shakes her head. She then proceeds to pour herself a glass of whiskey and explain the situation to Reid
"So, you need me to help you break into a secret agency that held you captive for 7 years and watch you kill the Devil?" Reid raised an eyebrow trying to absorb all the information. Her lemonade was long forgotten, and her phone had turned off after not being used.
"Yep" Avis nodded, finishing her drink, not hesitating to pour herself another
"Ace, I knew your life was fucked up damn-"
"Yeah, let's trade sob stories later alright? You gonna help or not?" Avis looked at her foster sister as she waited for her to make a decision

"I specifically told you not to go and find her." Cas angrily, yet calmly, reprimanded the Winchesters as they stood around the map table in the bunker.
"Look, we know what you said but we couldn't just-" Sam started but Cas cut him off
"No. Avis needs to do this alone like the prophecy says" He sighed, realizing the only way to get the two to back off was to tell them the whole truth "That's why all of this. That's why I saved her, that's why I was taken in the first place. Gabriel and I were the only angels who knew that Avis was the only one who could kill him once and for all" Dean and Sam listened intently, worried that if they interrupted him, he wouldn't continue "The prophecy basically says that the one who kills Lucifer will do so alone at great cost. But this will be the end of the devil forever"
"So, when you say forever you mean like no resurrection, no cage, nothing. Just dead." Dean clarified and Cas nodded. This changed everything. If Avis could finally kill the devil, how could they stand in the way of it, but at the same time something was nagging at them "What do you mean a great cost?"
"Most likely...her life" Cas looked at the ground solemnly. Though he knew the prophecy needed to be complete, he had come to like Avis. He saw her as a friend, and he knew eventually she could become family. But she already had a destiny, one greater than anything any of them could know.
"Jesus..." Sam muttered. That was the exact moment a whirlpool of water appeared with Reid and Avis standing inside it
"Cas- what?" The group all looked at her with sadness and though Avis had a feeling she knew what it was about she didn't know how they could possibly know "What is it?"
"What's the plan?" Dean managed to get out. His voice was dark, and Avis almost had the urge to tell them everything. But for once she needed to listen to her father and think with her head. Her heart would only slow her down. Her heart would lose this fight.
"I don't know what you're talking about" Avis tried to brush it off but the expressions that Sam and Dean were giving her right now showed her that she wasn't getting off that easy. However, telling them what she had planned would only ruin things in the long run. Her decision was made, "You know I actually can't do this"
"What are you talking about?" Sam raised an eyebrow and Avis took a long breath.
"Thank you for everything. Your help, your support...but I need to do the rest of this alone" Before either Winchester could respond or Cas could try and figure out what she meant, Avis teleported herself and Reid away.
Now they simply stood in an empty room with more questions and more on their conscience than they needed.
