Avis was lost in thought as they drove towards her old apartment. She still couldn't figure out what the Initiative had found in Alex that prompted them to perform the surgery. They had never been all that interested in her powers, more on how she got them. They would question her, try to get in her mind, and occasionally test the extent of her speed but never in a way that would go past her running a few miles.

Avis didn't remember Alex ever being under the scalpel, and she liked it that way. Even if she was dissected and tortured every day for the last seven years, the fact that Jasper and Alex never were was enough for her.

She pulled up in front of a dark building at the corner of a fairly dead street in Brooklyn. It had an unlit neon sign that said 'Trident' and a closed sign taped on the door. She nudged Dean and Sam who and both fallen asleep, which she didn't blame them for, it had been a 20-hour drive. Avis was used to not being able to sleep, between her nightmares and messed up schedule it had been years since she had a restful night.

"Yo, we're here" They both stirred awake, neither gracefully, making Avis smirk to herself

"Have you been driving this whole time?" Sam raised an eyebrow, clearly concerned and Avis shrugged not seeing the big deal

"Yeah, I wasn't tired. It's the uh adrenaline" She lied and exited the car, making sure to put her phone on do not disturb. If there was one thing she couldn't have right now it was an interruption. They stumbled out of the car and Avis looked at her old bar with an expression none of them could read

"What is this place?" Dean raised an eyebrow and Avis smirked, walking towards the door

"My bar" She took out her keys and raised the only gold one on the chain, bringing it to the lock. She hesitated for a second feeling the same overwhelming anxiety she felt before entering Bobby's. Feeling the Winchesters' eyes on her, she cleared her throat and unlocked the door walking inside.

It was dark and looked like it hadn't been touched in years since it hadn't. There were about four tables pushed against the back wall with chairs stacked in front of them. The bar was basically empty besides a few bottles of alcohol and glasses. Next to it was another door that led to Avis's apartment which for some reason was open

"What the fuck?" Avis took out her gun, holding it at eye level and the Winchesters' did the same. She opened the door the rest of the way and didn't drop her gun as she made her way up the stairs to her apartment. It was a small one-bedroom that unlike the bar downstairs looked like someone was there recently. A sudden crash from the bedroom made Avis walk faster and kick the door open. What she found was a woman about an inch taller than her with dirty blonde hair standing over a broken picture frame

"Ace?" The woman raised an eyebrow and seemed to breathe a huge sigh of relief when she saw Avis standing there with a gun pointed at her head

"Reid? What the fuck are you doing in my apartment?" Avis dropped her gun and signaled for Dean and Sam to do the same

"Well, I was looking for you and you weren't answering your phone..." Reid glanced down at the broken frame and Avis sighed harshly, rolling her eyes. She walked over and picked up the picture of her when she was around 13 with Reid who was about a year younger.

"I've been kind of off the grid for a while." Avis stated and Dean cleared his throat waiting for this to be explained "Right uh Dean, Sam, this is Reid"

"Her sister" She flirtatiously smiled at them, mainly Dean, and Avis rolled her eyes

"Foster sister" Avis corrected, and Reid rolled her eyes, attempting to help Avis clean the glass from the floor. Avis then walked over to the kitchen, followed by Reid as the Winchesters' stayed back to talk

"She's a foster kid?" Sam questioned and Dean shrugged still looking as they walked away. Sam rolled his eyes and Dean looked back at him

"What?"

"You are not hooking up with Avis' sister." Dean looked overly offended and Sam gave him a bitch face. But Sam didn't notice that Dean wasn't looking at Reid but rather Avis as she healed the cuts from the glass on her sister's hand

"Whatever. Why do you think Cas didn't want us getting involved?" Dean brought the conversation back to something important and Sam shrugged

"I don't know, maybe he just didn't want us around Lucifer" They nodded their heads, but both knew something else was going on. They just didn't know what.

"So, where's the stuff you said you needed?" Sam asked as they walked towards the sisters' in the kitchen. Avis walked over to the bookcase in the living room area and looked until she found her copy of 'Peter Pan' in French

"You needed to get a book?" Dean raised an eyebrow and Avis gave him a bitch face similar to Sam's

"No dumbass" She pulled at the book but instead of removing it from the bookshelf the sound of an unknown lock clicked and the bookcase slid to the side revealing a secret room. Inside was a wall of different gadgets, a packed duffel bag, and a suit of armor displayed behind glass.

"Damn, you have your own mini Batcave" Dean gawked impressed and Avis rolled her eyes

"You are such a dork" She laughed and grabbed only the duffel bag, leaving the rest inside as the bookcase closed. Avis walked over to the small table in the kitchen and unzipped it searching for something. Inside was a completely black outfit, a keychain, a weird looking pen, and a shell. When she found the keychain, she took it out and smiled widely

"What is that?" Sam raised an eyebrow. It was a small silver keychain with a Greek coin hanging off of it but to Avis, it was so much more

"This is how I kill the devil" Both brothers looked at her skeptically, but neither noticed the blank expression that Reid presented as she watched the conversation, her eyes never leaving the keychain

"That's a keychain." Dean pointed out and Avis sighed

"Yes, Dean I realize that but-" Suddenly the entire apartment began violently shaking. Without a second thought, Avis spun the keychain around on her finger and it transformed into a bow and a quiver of arrows appeared around her shoulder. Three demons now stood in front of them "Reid go to my room."

Her sister did as she asked, not bothering to even make sure the others were okay, and Dean and Sam raised their guns already shooting at them. Avis shot two arrows, one landing in the chest of the demon to the right, the other landing in the eye of the one in the middle. The second the arrows pierced their skin, rather than going into flames like most demons did when they were killed, they began turning to ice. The second their bodies completely froze, they shattered leaving only shards of ice on the ground.

Avis then flipped her bow in her hand, and it morphed into a sword. She charged at the one in the middle and stabbed it through the stomach, this time it burned normally. She sighed and flipped her sword in her hand, changing it back into a keychain

"What was that about my keychain?" She smirked as Dean and Sam looked at her wide-eyed.
