The formal is in two days and I'm so excited. There were a lot of people doing surprises to ask out girls and they were so freaking adorable. The way Tyler asked me out is still by far my favorite way someone asked a girl. Alexis has been asked a few times but she declined them because there is one guy she's wanting to ask her. It was Jaxson but they broke up and he already moved on. I knew a secret though, that she will never expect. I was helping someone I know very well plan to ask her. She'll be very surprised.
The special person was asking her to go with him using a scavenger hunt and I was helping set up the clues. It will end on the in the gym, which is also decked out with decorations for the ask. We were finished setting up and I was waiting in the gym with the special person. Karry was helping by making sure she doesn't go anywhere she's not supposed to yet. I'm so excited.
It's been about fifteen minutes since Karry texted me that Alexis found her first clue. We were getting nervous. Just then, the doors to the gym opened and in cam a confused Alexis. Tyler and I had a "script" planned out with the special person so we started acting.
"*gasp* Tyler look look! It's a lost Alexis! Can we keep? Can we please?" I said with puppy dog eyes. Alexis giggled a bit and walked towards us the Eliot walked out in front holding flowers making Alexis even more confused.
"Sorry sis but she's mine. That is if you'll go to the formal with me?" He asked the second part to Alexis. I was getting antsy waiting for an answer. She just looked shocked with her mouth wide open.
"Alexis?" I asked. "This is the part where you say yes." I informed her playfully. She chuckled then finally answered.
"Yes!" She said as she hugged Eliot.
"Really?" Eliot asked surprised.
"Really." Alexis assured.
"Yes!" Eliot said pumping his fist in the air causing everyone to laugh.
"I didn't think you'd like me enough to ask me." Alexis said.
"I've like you for a while. I just never knew how to tell you so I thought this was the perfect way."
I walked over to them to make a joke about them.
"Hey bro. I'll let you keep her, but remember she's a big responsibility. You need to feed her everyday or she'll get angry. And take her on walks and make sure she has plenty of water. Also, don't forget to let her out to do her business." They both laughed and blushed a bit. "But seriously bro. Don't forget what you told Tyler. 'Never make a softball player mad. Remember they can swing a bat faster than you could say sorry.' Also, you brake her heart and I'll break your face aka your money make as you call it." Then I walked away.
The rest of the day was fun and went by pretty fast. I know I said this already but I seriously can't wait for the formal. It'll be so much fun. I'm proud of my brother for finally telling Alexis how he felt, but I meant every word I said. If he hurts her, I don't care if we're family, he's dead meat.
After school we all went back to mine and Eliot's house to discuss the plan for the formal. The guys said they have a surprise for the formal planned for Alexis and I. Because if that, Alexis is gonna have to be here extra early so she doesn't accidentally see it when she gets here. Oh well, gives us extra time to get ready. The boys seemed pretty excited and proud about it. I wonder what they're planning.
We stayed at our house for a few hours just talking. We also ordered pizza and hung out and watched movies. We watched The Sandlot, The Outsiders, and How to Train A Dragon. Hey! Don't make fun of our odd choices in movies. We had fun and that's all that matters. Crap! I'm sounding like my mom more and more everyday. Anyway, Tyler had to leave and do his chores which he was behind on and if his mom found out he wouldn't be able to go to formal. That wouldn't be good. Alexis stayed the night in my room and we talked about what we needed to do to get ready for the formal. Two days left. Can't wait to have the time of my life with my friends.
