Chapter 29

As Aya came out of the house, she immediately saw Akashi, leaning his back on the wall, his arms crossed, while his eyes were closed.

"Is he asleep?" She thought then her eyes widened seeing the bonfire, people dancing around it, eating and having festive "What's going on?"

"They started the party while you were treating her." Akashi spoke now with his one eye open. Aya approached him and stood next to Akashi, then also lean her back on the wall "It's been hours already. The people who were alive and had memories 20 years ago prior wept when Prince Sora came out, apologizing for what happened. He also that he would explain more later, but he needed to take care of things first. But how could I explain it, indeed some felt relief, but most of the younger ones look unpleasant"

"Well, that's obvious reaction" she commented then leaned her head to his shoulder

"How was it by the way?"

"I'm tired. It drained my energy. To think that I would be doing a manual and risky surgery. I needed to do a quick diy blood type test as well" Aya sighed then smiled "but, I could say that it won't be a success until she wakes up"

"Otsukare" Akashi responded then carried Aya "now that I removed the barrier, I got energy again. Let's go watch the night sky. It's full moon, and the sky is clear tonight as well. You can rest there as well"

Akashi teleported in the highest structure in the area, making Aya in surprised. "I went here a while ago, while you were doing the surgery"

The two sat side by side, Akashi wrapping his left arm around her shoulder, her head resting against him, and their right hands clasping each other. The loud noise from the festive below could be heard, but the two were enjoying their time together instead. 

"Aya"

"Hmmm?"

"Happy Birthday" 

Aya moved back as she looked at him in surprised, "Thank you, and somehow, sorry that I didn't tell you"

"Yeah, tell me the reason now why didn't you tell me? Your real name, your birthday, you sure hide things a lot, huh"

"Just to let you know, I don't know about this family thing that happened today. For why I didn't tell my name and birthday... I am protecting Kagetora-san, and Riko-san. They looked after me, sheltered me even though they didn't know me. If I tell my last name, then you would know that I am not his son, if I tell my birthday, you would insist that I am your other half."

"Well, you are"

"I mean, at that time I didn't know anything and I came from another world" Aya sighed and once again rested her head against him "just who am I? Why am I even born? Honestly, I am confused to what's going on"

"If you told me sooner, I was able to at least tell you that you have the same last name as the royal family of Munerum kingdom" Akashi pulled her more closer to him, and tightly held her hand "also, I know you are confused right now. "Yeah, not now though. I am tired, exhausted. My mind won't last if I hear them." She closed her eyes and snuggled more to Akashi

"Do you want me to get something to eat? We haven't eaten much today"

"No, I am all good. I just wanted to sleep. Here is good"

Aya fall asleep not long after, while Akashi guarding her. It was in the middle of winter night, but unexpectedly, it wasn't that cold compared to what they experienced ever since they arrived in Munerum Kingdom.
