Chapter 18

Akashi blinked fast, overwhelmed from the foods that were being served in front of him. Aya introduced him to Minako-san, and her daughter Eri, then left him there the next day since she needed to go to work. She wasn't able to see Yana though, since she was in school. 

And once Aya left for work, Minako-san prepared different foods for Akashi, since Aya told them to pamper him with foods from Japan.

"I think these dishes are all enough. I don't think I'll be able to finish all of them" Akashi commented since foods were being served one after another

"But Aya-chan told us to pamper you." Minako-san told him agreed by her daughter, Eri "she said that you two will be leaving soon, and she wanted you to experience much food from Japan. So, eat much"

"That's true, but these are enough"

Not long after, Yana arrived home and excitedly entered the house since she smells the delicious foods.

"I'm home, and I'm hungry!" She ran towards the dining room but halted seeing a feast on their table, and there was an unknown man, sitting by himself

"Then? What's the deal?" She asked then turned to Akashi "and who is this guy?"

"Welcome back. He is Akashi Seijurou-kun, Aya-chan's boyfriend" Her mother introduced, though Aya didn't introduce Akashi as her boyfriend, just an important person

"Aya-nee's? Why is he here?"

"Aya-chan has work, and so she didn't want him to be by himself on her house."

"I'm Akashi Seijurou, pleasure to meet you. if you'd like, please join me here since I won't be able to finish them. Also, we can leave some for later, for Aya as well" Akashi invited Yana

"Thank you. I am hungry as well." She sat down then turned to Akashi "but to think that Aya-nee has this handsome boyfriend. Of course, a beautiful woman with a beautiful man. She told me only that she had someone she loved but she hurt him. Was that you?"

"Probably? But everything is okay now" Akashi answered then looked at Yana "but I am surprised, we thought that she didn't have anyone here, but it seems not the case"

"Ah, well, according to Akutagawa-san, Aya-nee was popular in their school that guys liked her, and girls were jealous of her. Though there were people who wanted to be friends with her, Aya-nee had trust issues. I didn't know why, but he said because of Aya-nee being by himself and then her bestfriend."

"We looked after Aya when her mother, and their maid died." Minako-san added "She was interacting with us, she looked after our healths, she took care of us, but we could feel that there was a barrier around her, that she wanted to look after us, but she didn't want to bother anyone to look after her. I am glad that she at least opened to us a bit when she returned. Also, she is part of our family now. After saving my daughter, we needed to do something for her as well"

"Saving? Oh yeah, is she a doctor here as well?" Akashi curiously asked Minako-san

"Doctor? No, she paid for Eri's hospital bills, and not just her medicines but mine too. She didn't even finish high school because she disappeared. She has knowledge, but she can't be a doctor unless she studies and graduate from university. Even if she has knowledge, she needed to have University degree"

"But she can't attend university she said, so she is just volunteering in the neighborhood" Eri followed

"I don't understand. But well, she doesn't need them." Akashi mumbled then started eating.

Later that day, Akashi was standing outside Minako-san's house, waiting for Aya. Since Aya left, the parakeet stayed on Akashi's shoulder, good thing that no one could see it
