Chapter 16

"Then...? Aya-chan, you know that guy?" Nanami curiously asked as they were inside Aya's house.

Aya nodded then turned towards her room, where Akashi was. Akutagawa and Tanizawa were changing his clothes.

When Akashi lost unconscious, Aya wanted to bring him to the hospital, but she was afraid that they might ask for his identification, so she decided to bring him to her house. She also, went to Minako-san's house and ask if Yana's father has extra clothes, in which Yana gladly gave her some decent ones

"Senpai, we are done. He has no fever, but he has lots of wounds. He seemed stabbed lots of times though." Akutagawa told her, in which Aya immediately went to check him.

"So she knows him? He's so handsome though" Saya teasingly looked at the two "is he her boyfriend?"

"Senpai, don't tease us!" Tanizawa sighed

"But he might be that one..." Akutagawa mumbled

Aya checked Akashi's condition, and indeed, Akashi was full of stabbed. She knew very well, it was from spears and swords.

"What happened when I left?" Aya worriedly sat next to Akashi and started to treat his wounds

"Do you need help?" Nanami asked Aya as she sat next to her

"Yeah, is it okay if I ask you to cook soup? He needed something to eat when he wakes up. I need to treat his wounds... so.."

"I understand. I'll check what I can prepare from your kitchen."

"Thank you, Nanami-san"

"This guy, is he a precious friend?"

Aya nodded and slightly smiled "a precious one who I hurt though"

"I see. Well then, I'll prepare something for him. Also, let's postpone our barbecue party today. Just look after him for now. We'll head home after too"

"I'm sorry that this happened"

"Don't be" Nanami patted her head then excused herself

Akutagawa entered not long after and sat across on the other side, helping Aya to put bandage on Akashi's wounds.

"Senpai... this guy here, is he from that world?" He asked in low voice

"Yeah, he is. He shouldn't be here though. I wonder what happened when I left. These are not normal wounds."

"You said you left to avoid the war. What if there was still a war when you left? You said that someone told you that it was your fault, but what if he just wanted you to leave because they don't want you to involve you?"

"I don't know. But still, if I stay there, I'll die and because of me, everyone will die as well. My existence there was a big mistake."

"Don't say that" Aya and Akutagawa turned to Akashi, who finally woke up, and his mismatched eyes immediately turned to Aya "nice to see you, again. I think it's been three months"

Akashi sat down in much of Aya's protest but he insisted that he is okay

"You said you are okay, but your wounds say differently" Aya sighed

"I am okay. They are just wounds. Plus, you know well that they will heal. I think I just need sleep and food."

"Then make sure to rest after eating-" Aya told him but noticed that Akashi was looking at Akutagawa "He is Akutagawa Naoki. He's my kouhai from school here, and he helps me when I returned here."

"N-nice to meet you" Akutagawa slightly bowed down, his eyes gazing down, feeling intimidated from Akashi's gaze

"Yeah, I am Akashi Seijurou"
