Chapter 23

Aya, Akashi, and Midorima were able to find a place to hide so they could regain their energy. Aya and Midorima were able to somehow regain theirs after two hours, but Akashi was still out of breathe, and so he decided to sleep first.

"Akashi is still in this situation. Let's rest more here. Ah, but, Aya, can I leave Akashi to you?" 

"Where are you going?" Aya worriedly asked

"I'll do the look out. The captain from Wisteria might arrive as well. I will go to the downtown to buy foods-"

"No, let me do it" Aya stopped him and volunteered herself "Imayoshi-captain didn't see you much, so I'll go instead. He'll be able to remember me. Also, the people here might know you, so the best option is for me to go."

"But-"

"Don't worry, I'll be fine" I assured him then turned to Akashi "He used his power too much, and I think going to another kingdom affects his power. So let him rest for now. It will best as well for you to stay here, so you can carry Akashi if ever someone approaches you"

"If ever something happens, let's meet in Wisteria instead. Let's move carefully. Also, Akashi explained about each kingdoms, right?"

"I understand. I won't bring my bagpack since people here don't know about it. And yes, he taught me about this world. Ah, I need to change clothes. This kingdom is after all, the kingdom of hierarchy"

"Good luck"

"Thank you"

Aya grabbed her bag and changed first behind one of the trees, then returned her bag to Midorima. Fortunately, Akashi gave money to them before they crossed the border, so they could atleast buy foods and necessities they needed for their journey.

Aya entered the downtown district of Ridalia kingdom, wearing a white dress with rose pattern on it, with black and white high cut converse shoes. A simple dress, but among the people wearing high quality and flashy clothes, Aya stands out since they didn't have those kinds of clothes. Everyone was looking at her, her ambiance was different from others. They knew right away, she wasn't from the kingdom, but her presence was par with them. But that was because Akashi told her how the people live in this kingdom that she needed to have a presence that she was from a high class family.

"Ojou-sama, welcome, are you specifically looking for something?" Someone from a shoe store approached her "Are you new to our kingdom?"

Aya smiled at her and nodded "Yes, we are from Fortuna kingdom and on our way to Waniral kingdom. After a long travel, we finally arrive in a kingdom. So we are planning to stay here for couple of days. My companions are looking for a lodge to stay."

"You didn't stop at Ardelum kingdom? Isn't that on the way here?" The one from the shop asked but gasped as Aya smiled at her "Ah, oh yeah"

"Well, I heard the news about that so we decided not to stop there. I don't care much about what's going there, but we still need to protect ourselves" Aya chuckled "Anyways, I am actually interested in this kingdom's cuisine. Since we'll be staying here for couple of days, I would like to try your famous cuisines here, and if possible to let my companions eat them as well. Also, since my specialty is cooking, I would like to try create dishes here using your ingredients. Do you have any recommendation?"

"Yes, of course. I'll recommend the best of the best!"

"Thank you very much. Oh and, I love the boots there." Aya pointed the one displayed on the shoe shop then she winked at her "can I have a look? I am quite fond of shoes, so it would be nice if I buy one as a souvenir for myself." Aya chuckled and in just few conversations, Aya was able to deceive one of the people of Ridalia kingdom
